Is anyone else starting to feel a little disturbed by how quiet things have been lately? Maybe it's just an old soldier's paranoia talking.

[He sighs and then continues]

I'm taking a group out to the outer lands on the island. Part training, part working out the geography a little better so we know where the dangers are. Leaving Saturday morning, back when I say so, but probably not more than a few days - only so far you can go in direction on an island. Let me know if you're interested.


[Filtered to spec ops team]

Unless you have something more immediately pressing, I expect you to be there. We'll meet by the hold at six am.

Five or six people I haven't spoken to before about the team.

I see. This is becoming quite a project.

Guess so - but I'm glad there are people interested in doing this sort of work.

I just hope 'this sort of work' is something that might be able to make a visible difference. Everything else I've seen done doesn't seem to be changing anything.
