[Alright, while Alex has used the video function several times already, this will be her first attempt at publicly addressing the network.

U-Um... hello. My name is Alex Benedetto, and I arrived here at the beginning of the month.

[Hard to believe it's already going to be September. Time flies when you're forced into a war effort.] I'd like to thank everyone who's helped me out so far. It's been... really helpful in getting a grasp on what's really going on.

[Bit of a lie. She's still somewhat lost and in disbelief, but at least she's not showing it as much.]

I did have a question, though.

My doctor hasn't been brought here, and I was wondering if there were any among the Transports. The Initiative has been pretty helpful to me so far, but... It couldn't hurt to know of others I could visit.

[Alex turns off her device and heads towards the exit of her room. Though she didn't mind the cots, it was nice to be able to have a bed of her own, even if she had been used to living in the cramped apartment with Worick and Nicolas. Her new roommates seemed nice enough, and she hoped that they would all get along with each other.

Thinking that now would be a good time to do a bit of bonding, Alex finally left her bedroom proper to take a look around.]

There's nothing wrong right now. The Initiative has already given me the medicine I need. I was just wondering if there were any alternatives out there...

I dunno. I think you gotta be more specific, you know? I mean, I get wantin' your own personal doctor, somebody you trust, but. I dunno that you got too many choices.

I take some medicine to help with anxiety and stress. If I don't, I'll start to, um... s-see things.

[Not particularly proud of that last part.]

[But Jack doesn't react badly; he simply nods.]

I don't have medicine like that, but I can help keep you grounded, if you need. I can talk you through exercises to keep you in reality.

There's exercises you can do? Really?

Sure. Stuff like-- like sayin' a few facts about who you are, and where you're from, and where you are-- stuff to keep you stable.

[She should probably be writing this down, whoops.]

What if you keep... seeing someone else? Someone who you know should be dead. Is there anything specific to help with that?

I'd say . . . maybe just don't look at em. Or talk to em. Just ignore em as best you can.

Yeah, I know. It helps if you're around people, or-- or inna market or somethin'. Keepin' busy and not alone, you know?

I have a lot more time now that I know what to do with, but... you're right. I can't let them take hold of me like that.

[And now Alex is just waiting outside her room. She doesn't usually... meet up with people like this, especially with the kind of conversation she just had. so she's actually a little nervous.]

[He knocks gently. God knows if he's in any mental state to help somebody else-- but at least he can try.]

[She opens the door soon after. Alex is the kind who won't turn down the help, really.] Hey...

Thanks, for being able to do this.
