We've got quite the revolving door around here, which means we don't always know who we've got, or what kind of special talents they have.

Right now, I've got a particular interest in telepathic abilities. People who can get in and out of a mind, without having to crack open a skull. I think there's a job you can do for me.

It's important. I understand if you feel hesitant outlying your abilities for everyone. You can comment anonymously, until you know what I need- and I'll be encrypting these.

[He knows you don't, and that you absolutely hated this plan the second he'd talked about it, and then settled the discussion as much as anyone settles something like this with Han.

Han's access to the filter is more for his sake, than for Kirk's own. He trusts himself to read their character enough to determine if they'd cause an accident maliciously. Then again- If they were, does he really have a choice?
