[ Aerith appears to have finally decided to get around to using her communicator more, now that she's had some time to get settled in and explore (and also establish that there really isn't anyone she knows from home around here). Her hair looks a little damp and her face a little flushed, like she's been out in the rain, but she's smiling, an empty basket in her hands. ]
I don't suppose there are very many flowers growing around here, are there? It looks like it might take a little time to get back in business since I have to work from scratch.
[ She shifts the basket aside, pointing the camera toward a raw patch of earth that she's clearly been tilling, dug right down into in a particularly large section of missing/damaged pavement. There's a scattering of flowers there, growing just as resiliently as ever in a place where they have no business being. ]
No place is too gloomy for me to work with. Soon, I'll be able to fill the whole basket! I'll accept orders in advance, limit one per person.
[ She laughs faintly, playful, teasing, and turns the camera upward again. ]
Do you think—"they" would allow something like a flower shop around here, anyway? If I'm going to be here awhile, it may not be a bad idea to keep busy. —Busy-er.

Of course! They're not really "my" flowers... I just happened to grow them in the first place I could manage.

[Then again, Luke grew up on a desert planet, so all of the rain is OK with him.]

[ She says it with a hint of irony, like it's a joke. It kind of is, but then again it also does actually have its charms. In its way.
...yeah she hasn't quite warmed to it entirely yet. ]
It would be a lot worse if nothing would grow at all. I've seen a few plants, at least.

[ She imagines it would be those "Initiative" folk but who knows, anymore. This place is nothing but surprises. ]
These ones were already struggling to come up, so I made it a little easier for them. We'll just have to hope it works.

Hmm... maybe someone who doesn't like bees? Those tend to come included in the deal.
[ Which, come to think of it, she hasn't seen any yet. Could be a problem. ]

It would take awhile to grow enough to sell, though, if they grow at all... The climate here is so very different. If only there was a way to mimic that atmosphere, then they would stand a better chance.

[ ANCIENT??? It definitely catches her interest, at the very least. ]
I don't know if I'm quite up to that task, but I wouldn't mind giving it a try. Most of my gardening is pretty amateur.

If 'they' don't allow flowers, then you can count me in as part of the revolution.

[ A laugh; it's an inside joke. ]
Hopefully it won't come down to that.

[ So how did those flowers grow like that, he wonders. He's surprised they didn't drown really with how much rain's fallen since he's gotten here. ]
video;
[ A brief glance upward, brushing aside wet hair. It doesn't seem to bother her much despite being drenched, by the look of it. ]
Still, they might have a chance if I can move them somewhere sheltered.
