[babydoll is feeling rather sociable today, finally feeling like she can ask a few more questions than she normally would. of course, that isn't much for her. she never likes to pry too much into peoples' personal lives unless they've given her the permission to do so.]

When I first offered, it was a while ago, so I'd like to offer once more. If anyone needs help with training or handling certain weaponry, I can help.

[she pauses, eyes wandering away from the device for a quick moment before focusing at the camera again.]

I was also wondering- what sort of things did everyone do before arriving in Exsilium? What type of jobs?

[it's also the fact that she's from a much earlier time than most of the transports around exsilium that's making her curious. living in the 60s only gave her so much leeway.]

What has you curious about people's jobs?

[she gives him a quizzical look,]

You shoot them? I thought exorcism had to do with reciting the bible.

[she shakes her head,]

I don't know. It's something that isn't too personal, and it's a way to get to know someone better.

[overclocking]

[He has to resist the urge to snort a bit.]

Well... you could. But the gun is faster

[Still, though. She has a good point. And with people from so many different worlds, there must be some pretty remarkable answers.]

Well, they took me from a world that needed my help -- [this is going to get complicated if she doesn't word it correctly] and I had to disable a bomb on a train before it reached the city.

—No, of course not! The bullets are for the demons- normally they're on their own, independent of humans. But if it's a possession, we remove the spirit first, using other means.

Our job is to protect people, not harm them.

[... And really, just from one sentence, her job sounds just as harrowing.]

Taken from a world- that kind of thing has happened to you before? ... Are you a bomb technician? [A word-hopping bomb technician??]

[baby lets out a somewhat exasperated sigh. so she had it wrong, and they're usually their own entity? how many different universes were there? everything she learned from tv or books or anything, it seemed completely void here. at least, most of the time.]

Okay- I think I understand.

[she lets out a small laugh, brows raising.]

I'm not, no. I had people- friends, there to help me.

Then why give you a job so hazardous? [That's downright irresponsible of whoever's responsible, and she doesn't look like she can be much older than twenty, if that.] I'm guessing that isn't what you normally do.

Because it had to be done. An entire city would have been destroyed if we didn't do anything about it. I was transported here before we could do anything, and I have no idea if time's stopped or continued since I've left.

[she shakes her head,]

No, it's not.

... You're very brave.

[He sighs a bit.]

It's my understanding that time stops, and resumes once we've returned. [He's not sure how much he really does believe that, of course, but- it's easier (better, safer) to assume that it's true.] I'm sure you'll still be able to do what you need to.
