o1. video / optional action
[Today, two unforgivable errors were made: the first, he let Rosette use the kitchen.
The second: He let Rosette use the kitchen.
When the feed blinks to life, the serenity of the figure facing the camera is directly at odds with the thunderous cacophony in the background. Chrono just smiles blandly at his unseen audience as a terrible burst of sparks makes itself visible in—is his back to the apartment's kitchen?]
I just had a quick question. [He might as well dive right into it, as a crash echoes around the apartment. He doesn't even flinch.] Does anyone here know how to repair electronics? A microwave, specifically? I think apartment number 304 could use your services.
[It's here that Rosette comes into view, hurdling around the corner as smoke billows in her wake; if Chrono were actually looking, he might think it seems appropriate for Rosette's definition of an entrance. It's unclear whether she's addressing Chrono or the tablet (even realizes he's talking to the tablet) when she bellows FIRE! THAT'S A FIRE! It's very likely the former based on how the serenity of Chrono's smile twitches into something that speaks silent danger for someone.]
Quickly, if it isn't too much trouble? [The feed doesn't cut off; evidently, his quiet fury is such that he completely forgets to turn off the tablet before hurling it across the room to go perform some manner of intervention.
It lands facing a ceiling that is growing increasingly smokey.]
action.
[Anyone who actually approaches apartment #304 will find an impressive cloud of black smoke billowing out of the open door that smells distinctly of burnt electronics and scorched metal. Rosette's voice will make itself known second, shouting about how the kitchen is out to get her and this isn't her fault.
If one actually ventures into the abyss (which speaks volumes toward a capacity for bad decisions, by the way), they'll find a frantic teenage girl and a long-suffering little kid trying to determine the best way to put out an impressive electrical fire.]

Re: video
I'm an expert now?
Re: video
Re: video
Re: video
So, are you handy with fixing microwaves? I'm not sure we can actually pay you.

Re: video
[Pauses, deep in thought.]
No guarantees about remarks however.
Re: video
DEAL!
Re: video
Then just let me know where you are and when's the best time to stop by.

He'll pull on Rosette's hair when this isn't an unlocked broadcast.]
Feel free to timeskip!
.... and... an hour maybe?
Re: Feel free to timeskip!
[AND THEN TIMESKIPPING HAPPENS, there may or may not be a stalker somewhere nearby, I'm not sure yet but the possibility is there. Outside of that though, Huey's the only one at the door for now, politely knocking...]

Ah! The expert! Come in!
[An hour after the fire had been... eaten, the two of them, and whatever poor slaves they could push into service have managed to make some serious progress on the fire disaster.
Pans have been picked up and are stacked at one side of the kitchen. Most of the ash and extinguisher foam have been mopped up, leaving only a few smudgy grey patterns on the floor.
As far as the microwave goes... It is a half melted wreck, the door of it sitting on the floor with a potato sized hole through the center of it.]

[Huey took a quick glance inside to see the damage inside, in particular in the kitchen, and once he turns to look at the microwave ...
...
...
well ok, can't help but smile at that]
It seems you've lost pretty badly in that fight.
no subject
... ah... heheh maybe a little bit.

[Rosette heads over to one of the small cupboards and pulls out a tacklebox full of an assortment of tools. Most of them look used.]

. . . This might take a while.

Good afternoon...oh, may I ask for your name?

RESISTS SIGHING, but only barely.]
It's Chrono.
Thank you in advance for any help.

[I am now in your kitchen, staring at the microwave, curiously...]
How strange.
no subject
And.
Everywhere else, for that matter.]
I can't imagine what could possibly be strange about any of this.

[No promises for next time.]
I'll try my best to finish this quickly.
