[When Jaime turns the tablet on, he's standing in front of the cinema that a couple of the other Transports had constructed, visible hand propped up on a broomstick. The area is still scattered with debris and dust after the bombings, but it's clear that he's at least made the rudimentary attempts at cleaning a path to the miraculously intact structure. He gives the camera a little wave.]

Hey! So, it's come to my attention that some people around here have never seen a movie before even though we've got a theatre right here. I'm thinking we're totally past due for a movie night, and it just so happens that I found a copy of E.T. in one of the databases. This place still needs to be cleaned up a bit, but I think I can have it ready by let's sayyyy Saturday, 7 PM. Everyone's welcome to come on down.

Or at least you are as long as you bring snacks.

[He grins at the camera. He's joking, honest. Mostly. Mostly joking. A movie's not a movie without snacks.]

Yeah, that's right. They're what we use as bomb shelters around here. They're dank and kind of gross, honestly, but it's better than being... [He mimics and explosion, both with his hands and with his voice.] I can show you the entrances sometime, if you like.

[... It gets the point across, at least.] I'd like that, it sounds like I should definitely know where it is. I don't have to be right away. I just really hope we don't have to hide down there again.

So the choice is between menial labor for some unknown end, or risking our lives and sanity in a warzone.

Sounds like you guys have been having a rough time of it. How are you holding up?

Ooh. Very weird. Did you know them too, just as different versions of them?

That's pretty much it, yeah. [He sounds a little morose as he says it, but that's more about the situation in general than his own, personal situation - more than one person has asked after his welfare (because he's a teenager, he supposes), but his answer is always the same.]

I do all right. I've gotten pretty lucky.

Me too. But it's best to know where they are, just in case. We should probably be having bombing drills or something, come to think of it.

Wouldn't that be hard to coordinate with so many people?

One, yeah. She's not so different, really, just...younger. [And she has a daughter. She wonders what changed, exactly, to stop that from happening; to cost Franklin a sister.]

[He looks thoughtful for a moment, though it's clear that he still thinks that's incredibly strange.]

[He tilts his head, then concedes:] Yeah, good point. Maybe just, like... sections of housing? The hospital workers already seemed to know what they were doing, though.

Not off the top of my head. Wouldn't be too hard to rig something minor up, though, like making the popcorn in a pot instead and just having a bunch of pots.

Who would I be shooting said message to? [ Sure, the network gives a user id, but Misha, for instance, still has hers in hexadecimal soooo. Not that she actually needs help anyway, being able to phase through objects and all, but that's one thing she's trying to keep on the down-low. ]

Good question. Maybe we could start a support group. [Her smile is wry, but she's not being completely facetious; maybe it would help.]
