[It’s hit or miss whether he gets treated harshly by the Exiles. He looks human enough that a lot of them give him a pass, but others decide his colouring marks him as different enough. Almost like being a child in Rukongai again, that. Look a little outside of the ordinary? Must mean you’re a monster or otherwise dangerous.
[A shadow catches his eye again, and yet another one whispers to him. He’d heard one earlier in the day, taunting him about what he’d failed to see for decades.] Maybe if they hate you so much, it’s for good reason. What’s more likely? A problem with hundreds or a problem with just one? You’re a logical sort. You figure it out. It’s not hard, right? Little genius? Then again, you never saw that she’d been in danger all that time. Some protector you are.
“You intruders have a lot of nerve showing your faces in public after what you caused, don’t you? Are you trying to get everyone killed, you fucking little brat?”
[He does not have the patience for this. Everything that shadow is saying infuriates him, but he knows from earlier that he’s unable to harm them. This jackass in front of him would make a good target in lieu of that. But he’s not far enough gone to displace his anger in such fashion.
[At least not until ignoring the man doesn’t work; no, he’s not going to tolerate that hand on his arm yanking him back to endure more verbal abuse. A simple twist of his arm to free it, and then a hard push against the air with his reiatsu that sends the man flying several feet back into a nearby wall. Not enough for serious injury, but enough to startle the ass and anyone nearby who’d supported his actions.
[Hitsugaya huffs and continues on his way. Damn it, he can’t keep doing this.]
[Later, his voice tight and restrained:]
So who else is aware that we seem to have a problem literally lurking in the shadows? In any event, I haven’t had a proper spar in some time, if anyone properly skilled for it is so inclined. [AKA: he needs to get some aggression out.
[And after a moment, an addendum:] Not you, Ichimaru.
[[OOC: Yep, it's them runeblade demons again.]]
