[The feed comes on to one of the sectioned-off areas of the temporary housing area, more specifically to a cot carefully made and covered with a plastic sheet. Atop the sheer is a collection of plants in various containers, mostly stereotypical pots made of plastic plastic or unglazed ceramic, though there's at least two or three deep cereal bowls for smaller plants and a paint bucket barely in frame. These are very clearly mostly tomato plants, from the small red shapes spotting them here and there.

Finally, a slight redhead enters the frame, fidgeting with her coat nervously.]

Um, hello! My name is Tsubomi Hanasaki--I'm new. It's nice to meet you all! I'm here to talk about plants!

[She lifts the closest pot with any reddening tomatoes, leaning closer to properly show it to the feed.] I've been growing some vegetables. Mostly tomatoes, and I'm waiting on some carrots. Anyway, after some trial and error, I think I've figured out how to grow tomatoes indoors, if anyone wants a plant! There are... a lot here... [She gestures to the pots on the cot.] They need a couple of lamps and some water, and all I ask in return is letting me look at it sometimes! You can keep all the tomatoes, and everything. So if you want to come to the Hold and pick one up, ask around for me! Or I can come to you! I have about twenty, but I'm planting new ones every day, and as soon as they've taken root I'd be happy to give them away. [The power of magic, to get these plants started!]

[She looks uncertain for a moment, and then takes a deep, visible breath.]

Thank you for your time!

[She bows, and goes to turn the video off, only for it to go tumbling from whatever she had it perched on with a rough clatter. Tsubomi's concerned expression fills the feed just before it turns off.]

[Action is open to other people in temp housing or anyone who wants to come by and pick up a plant!]

[How hard can it be to find a girl with a bunch of tomatoes? Stanley wanders down to the temporary housing, which he's familiar with from his own arrival, and looks around until he spots her.

He doesn't say hi right away, though. First he checks out her set up, curiously. It doesn't look too fancy yet. But he's got all the lights from that stupid Alaska trip, but he's still only getting weak results. Maybe this girl knows what's what. She's growing tomatoes in a gymnasium after all. So he shuffles closer and finally addresses her.]

Hey.

[Tsubomi looks up from fiddling with the carrots planted in the paint bucket, and brightens up, standing and brushing dirt from her fingertips.

Her first--was customer the right word, here? Maybe. In any event, maybe he was here for a plant!]

[A freak with red sclera and shark teeth cheerfully greets her.]

It is a pleasure to meet you, Tsubomi. Are you a vegetable supervillain?

[She blinks a few times, but forges on without comment on his appearance--] What kind of--no! I'm not a supervillain, let alone a vegetable supervillain!

[Tsubomi will get a very, very eloquent response from a rather quietly excited-looking teenager.]

[Tsubomi smiles, tilting her head with it.] Vegetables, indeed!

Whoa! That'd be a lot of help with cooking! It's tough to get fresh veggies around here. But I'm not too great at keepin' things like that alive...

[Kousuke looks a little abashed at that.]

My beans never grew in elementary school. I guess I poked at it too much. If I pick one up, do you think you could give me some advice? Oh, I'm Kousuke Nitoh! Nice to meetcha, Tsubomi!

Growing plants is as easy as giving them all the love you can! But if you want tips, I'd be happy to make you up a little plan...

[Surprised, but pleased--] Oh, my, thank you!

It's not that exciting, though...

[Nill saw the network post, and man, does she want to take a plant home with her. Veggies. She hasn't seen anything so beautiful in awhile. So she asked around, figured out where to go, and now she's here!

...She doesn't quite approach Tsubomi right away though, instead taking a moment to look over the plants with what can only be described as admiration. They are so, so lovely.]

[Tsubomi is actually in the midst of passing her hands over a few of the newly-sprouting plants she hadn't put on the cot. Her little segment of the training room is filled with them--she really needs to start moving them onto the floor again soon.

She catches sight of Nill from just above the leaves of one of the healthier plants, and stands, holding the little sprouting pot in her hands. Her smile is gentle.]

[Sheryl's eyes widen in recognition of the girl she met a week or so ago, then once the surprise is gone she smiles brightly. Because fresh vegetables...]

It's been too long since I've seen a real tomato or carrot! Everything around here seems so processed and filled with chemicals. Can you honestly believe whatever they have in Exsilium is considered real food?

Oh, hello! Without the things they have to do to grow vegetables in the farmlands, things look much better. But they're making a lot more than I am... With the weather like this, it's not really much of a surprise, is it? [On this, at least, she's capable of maturity.]

Hello, Sophie! Right now, there's only vegetables, but I want to start growing flowers as soon as I have a place to garden... The training rooms are kind of small. [This is matter-of-fact, with no bitterness; she sounds at peace enough with the reality.]
