[When the feed starts, there's a girl who will be familiar to some. She doesn't begin by explaining that she just returned or anything, though. Instead, there's a brief silence of only several seconds, but she soon starts to speak once she's found the exact words she wants to say.]

So, um, I know there's a clinic for the Transports here. And, I know it's probably only for people who have lots of experience in medical stuff to be working there, but I wanted to know if there was any kind of, like, training program, or someone who knows a lot about medicine and stuff that's showing people how to do it? I only know a little bit of first aid, but I'd really like to learn more, is the thing.

Apart from that, um... I'd like to hear stories from other worlds. It can be things that really happened to you, if anyone's comfortable with that, or famous legends from the place you lived, or, well, anything! I just like hearing about different places, and I think stories are a good way to do it.

You think? It's always raining, though, so wouldn't a campfire be kind of hard? Because it would get all wet and go out...

I've never done that, though! Does it really make it more fun?

I'm sure someone around these parts has some sort of magical ability that should keep the fire from going out on us.

[ Or you could try putting a really tall tarp over it. But no, okay... magical fire, sure. ]

And of course telling stories that way makes it more fun! That method was designed specifically for story telling.

[ Maybe. He doesn't actually know. ]

Oh, you're probably right! I didn't think about it that way.

[Or they could just do it inside, except not, because that is a horrible idea, which she realizes a few seconds after thinking it in the first place.]

It was? I've seen it a lot in, like, movies and stuff, but I never knew that! Do you know who invented it?

[ This campfire idea of Jake's might be doomed to failure, but never having anyone to sit around a campfire with him in years DARNIT it sounds like a great plan and he wants to do this.

He hesitates at her question though. ]

Er... well no, not really.

I bet it was someone really cool with lots of things to tell people, though! And maybe someone who lived somewhere pretty cold, too.

[A beat.]

So, do you have any?

I bet you're right about that! Whoever he was must have had a lot to say.

[ He pauses himself to consider the question. He knows a lot about movies, but it's not like he thinks his own life is particularly exciting... ]

A few here and there, but I might share those for this hypothetical campfire situation.

Not even one? You could just do the one you like the least now so you can save all the best ones for later!

I suppose sharing a story, or maybe even two couldn't hurt anything. Er, wait do you want personal tales or more legends? Because I've got more than my fair share of legends to talk about!

Oh, whichever you'd prefer! I'd like anything.

[ Hmmm... ]

Well have you heard the one about the man that uncovered a long buried conspiracy and discovered one of the world's greatest treasures with the help of America's greatest piece of written history?

[ ... Jake... Stop trying to pass off National Treasure as some sort of meaningful legend. ]

[Luckily enough she has no idea what that is, so he just gets an excited grin as she leans a little closer to the tablet in interest.]

I haven't! How'd he do it? What happened?

[ He's straightening his posture a little as he starts to prattle on about this. ]

With the help of a sassy friend who had quite a way with machines, and a lovely lady friend that ended up joining forces with our intrepid heroes during their journey.

Okay, so how did it start? How did they find out about it in the first place?

Oh, well I suppose finding that treasure was something of a family tradition that our hero was carrying on. Only unlike all the people before him, he actually managed to pull it off.

Oh, so he came from a family of treasure hunters! What made him different from everyone else who had tried, though?

He came up with right solution, obviously! He stole the Declaration of Independence!

—Isn't that a bad solution?

Of course not! When there's something more important at stake, or when it's for the sake of adventure and discovery then stealing important artifacts like that is perfectly alright.

[ ... It's really not though. ]

But you said it was for the sake of getting treasure!

Er, well yes! That's part of it all, but the biggest treasure of all here is the treasure of knowledge!

What kind of knowledge?

Why, the knowledge that his family was right about their being a treasure all along for starters!

But if he knew that because of what was on the Declaration of Independence, couldn't he have given it back after he knew, if knowledge was what he was after?

Well of course! He didn't keep much of the profits once he found it all, and the Declaration of Independence was turned over to the proper authorities by the end of this tale. But he had to find it first or he couldn't prove it was really there.

Oh! Well, I guess that's okay, then. Still, he must have been in a lot of trouble after that!

Although, does it really matter if he could prove it to anyone else if he knew it was true himself?
