The Initiative picked an interesting time to bring me back. [The fully armored man on screen sighed, flopping back against the wall from where he was sitting and eying the tablet in his lap. He might even be looking a little exasperated, if one were capable of noticing that through his body language and tone. When considering that most of his facial expressions were hidden beneath that visor well enough.] Especially when it looks like a lot of people are getting sick, thanks to our friends beyond the wall.

So it'd probably be a good idea to stay away from crowds if you'd prefer not to join them.

[A quick second pause, tapping his finger on his leg a few times, before finally shrugging.]

Looks like I'll have to figure out what's changed about this place later, once things calm down.

[As if on cue, the microwave dings. Kallen glances up at Rook.] You want to get that, or should I?

[Rookie chuckles never the less, before Kallen's question gets an added grin as he wordlessly maneuvered his way over towards the microwave in order to get his plate. Only to stop when he realized he was missing something, and quickly glanced around for a moment or two until he finally let his eyes go back to her with a quirk of a brow.]

So, uh... where are the forks?

Second drawer on your left when facing the counter. Cups are above you on the right, and you'll want to stick to water or the fruit punch in the fridge. The other stuff belongs to my roommates.

[She walks over, intending to join him, though she makes a beeline for the fridge instead.] There should be some other stuff in here somewhere... You'll probably want more than what you have there.

Ah. [Turning his head to the places mentioned, Rookie then settles the plate down on the counter top before he's moving to grab a fork and cup. Only for him to tilt his head and crack a smile when noticing what she was doing from over his shoulder.]
