Pick one, please.

To clarify, "light" doesn't mean good and "darkness" doesn't mean evil, or bad. Or vice versa; there's no moral alignment to any of them.
And I didn't "skip heart", so don't bother bringing that up.

But I think you misunderstand me. Flame is a broader form than fire; you hear about the flames of candles and torches, but house-fires and wildfires. Different words bring different ideas.

And if you don't specify, you get a lot of people picking light because they want to look like heroes.

Oh, I think you missed my meaning. That so few people were picking the "presumed-heroic" options, when each person responding was chosen to be brought here on the pretense of saving this world -- it's not their desires I'm presuming, but our intended functions.

If the Initiative had succeeded, in dragging in a unified force of people who want to be heroic, or see themselves as heroes, and I was still here, somehow, asking this question, *and* I left out the good/evil detraction, "light" would be a much more popular answer.

Does that make more sense?

I'm saying, *if* the Initiative wanted to bring people here who would help them save this world, they would pick the type of people who want to do good, and be heroes, and stuff like that. Those types, if they were following your idea of how this works, would pick "earth." But it's a very unpopular choice.
