[ the name attached to this account, and thus with all applicable comments within this entry, reads Haruka Takahashi, as usual.
for those of you just joining us at home, some info.
]

If you're only interested in useful posts, you can skip the rest of this. I'm only out to waste the time of those who want it wasted, today.
For anyone else, color me curious.

Water, Wind, Light, Flame, Earth, or Darkness.

Pick one, please.

To clarify, "light" doesn't mean good and "darkness" doesn't mean evil, or bad. Or vice versa; there's no moral alignment to any of them.
And I didn't "skip heart", so don't bother bringing that up.

...Yes.

Let us speak of anything else.
sword_dancer_e: (It's only a little off-putting.)

There is no debate to be had, really. That is for another time though.

Stability is important to me, especially since I have not had it in some years.

Frau T... [This is a really foreign-sounding word for him. Give him a moment.]

Frau Tack-- [He makes a face and gives up.]

Frau. Ask me another day and I shall tell you. Know only that I am in disgrace.
sword_dancer_e: (Incredulously now.)

[He brings a hand to his chin to consider her question because, really, she has thrown another foreign word at him.]

It is a title for younger women in my native language, Deul. What is "German"?
sword_dancer_e: (For her eyes only.)

[personal profile] sword_dancer_e 2013-06-06 07:39 am (UTC)(link)
[His mouth quirks up into a small smile. This is relieving because he was starting to become weirded out by the concept of two entirely different places coming up with the same language. Though, as it stood with this small example, they were fairly close.]

German people, I see. For your title, 'Lein' would be added in the countryside to denote very young girl in Nei Deul. It does not exist in proper Deul.

[Thinking on it, He recalled getting yelled at the one time he'd met the Princess and called her as such. Well, that's a country bumpkin for you.]

Not being a linguist... [A sigh. He can at least answer her question.]

I only know that it is spoken in Deulnelia. If there are other settlements in the world I suppose it would be. And yes, Nei Deul is a dialect. You might call it...informal? Informal. Nobility speaks Deul, which is considered the proper language.

For example, I speak with a Nei Deul accent since I lived in one of the outer Kingdoms.
sword_dancer_e: (Are you high?)

You remind me of a man...

[Bad memories, but yes this is much better than war and death.]

Are all people from your home so curious?
sword_dancer_e: (I'm waiting for you always.)

[personal profile] sword_dancer_e 2013-06-06 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
That is fine, then. I was recalling a bad experience recently with a man that did nothing other than ask questions.
sword_dancer_e: (The skeptic.)

[personal profile] sword_dancer_e 2013-06-07 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
I am glad then.

...How would one go about pronouncing your name, Frau?
sword_dancer_e: (Why must it be so difficult?)

[A moment please. He can he heard quietly repeating the syllables until it sounds a bit more natural for him.]

Frau Takahashi, I would prefer to know you a little longer before I presume familiarity such as this. It not proper for a Knight of any sort to disrespect a Lady as such.
sword_dancer_e: (Not worth the effort.)

[personal profile] sword_dancer_e 2013-06-07 04:19 am (UTC)(link)
A Knight-Errant.

I do not have a King or Country I serve.
sword_dancer_e: (I'm waiting for you always.)

[personal profile] sword_dancer_e 2013-06-08 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
It is... Not the most favorable position. Knighthood is more of a way of life than a job, but swearing to serve someone has more comforts than roaming.
sword_dancer_e: (Light of my life)

[personal profile] sword_dancer_e 2013-06-08 05:33 pm (UTC)(link)
It is very much so, as I had wanted to be a Knight ever since I was young. My father was formerly a Paladin of the Church and I wished to be like him.

It can be difficult to stem off all the temptations that contradict the Knight's Code, but I find following it to be rewarding, spiritually.

[Which, was all perfectly true. He just didn't feel it was as rewarding as it had been in the past.]
