We've all seen that going back in time and changing history is possible. So, if you were given the chance to pick anything, what would you change?

Nothing.

As far as I know, the world is bad enough. There's no need to add anymore screw-ups to it.

Well...does it have to be a screw-up? What if you knew you could fix something and not make it worse? [Geez, not a lot of confidence there, huh.]

That's impossible. There's always someone bound to be unhappy about it all.

You'll just be the cause of it rather than a bystander.

You could make it something inconsequential, maybe. So that the person who's unhappy is just being unreasonable.

What's even the point, then? Either you acclimate yourself with the prospect that you're doing harm to others for your own benefit or you do something inconsequential that wastes your time and likely doesn't even really benefit you all that much.

It sounds like either a gross misuse of power or a waste of power.

But just because it's inconsequential doesn't mean it wouldn't benefit you. Or others. Small improvements could do a lot, don't you think?
