Well hello there everyone. Welcome to the newer faces, how are you doing to both the new and old. In case you don't recognize this face or the hat, I'm Phoenix Wright, and I've got an announcement for you guys.

As of a few days ago, it seems like we've got a missing child on our hands. His name is Miles and he's about - oh - five feet eleven inches? I don't know how much he weighs, he's got grey hair and he was last seen wearing a red suit and a really intense cravat. He's... 24 years old, I think.

He hasn't been in his room and hasn't been coming in to work, either. His family is very worried about him. So.

[There is a few seconds' pause here, where Phoenix's rather playful expression sobers up. He keeps the smile, but he's definitely more serious now. A little sad, even.]

That is to say, it doesn't seem like Miles Edgeworth is here anymore. Haven't been able to reach his tablet or anything. I don't know if he'll come back like he did last time, but like last time, if you had any business with him I recommend contacting Miss Franziska von Karma. She might be able to help you out some.

[Another little silence. He's looking away from the camera. He mumbles some words like "They're all going somewhere." "How many is this now?" "I guess it's better they're not here, but." "It's starting to get kind of lonely." "I hope he's okay."

Then he turns back to the screen again, the first wide smile back on his face.]

Now, in case you don't know what he looks like! I drew a picture. I'm pretty confident in the likeness, if I do say so myself. I think the dog's still around...

If the future for him plays out the way things they did in my past, I can tell you with confidence that things worked out for him. He worked things out for himself. I think he's all right.

So, in the end, it's all bittersweet when they leave. [ As long as they have a happy life to return to. ]

A war zone is no place to be, though.

No kidding. I don't like being here either. But I guess on the other hand, I'm glad I'm still here to keep an eye on the other kid that's here with me.

Other kid?

Yeah. I've got Edgeworth's sister thing and another friend here. Franziska would have me whipped before I'm allowed to look after her though.

[gevurah]

Oh, a sister? [ Feeeeeelings about sisters. ] She going to be alright?

[aceordisgraced]

Franziska von Karma's a tough nut. I think she'll hold it together, but I'm not a person that can help her out, unfortunately.

[gevurah]

Not the type to want to be helped?

Not at all. And especially not from me.

Can I ask why?

Sure you can. And well, I honestly don't want to go into a whole lot of detail in case she wants to keep this stuff private around here, but Franziska von Karma has beef with me from some past squabbles.

Ah. [ An unseen nod. ] I won't pry. [ Everyone deserves their secrets, unless said secrets were going to harm someone then she makes it her business to find out. ]

Hopefully. It's not going to do us any good if we all fight with each other here.

It really is counter productive. I'm glad she's not just whipping me left and right.

I mean, I'd help her if she needed it. But I don't like getting hurt either.

I think in this situation it should be her that stops whipping me.

I did, for years! She won't listen and nobody stops her. Still, her responsibility.
