Well hello there everyone. Welcome to the newer faces, how are you doing to both the new and old. In case you don't recognize this face or the hat, I'm Phoenix Wright, and I've got an announcement for you guys.
As of a few days ago, it seems like we've got a missing child on our hands. His name is Miles and he's about - oh - five feet eleven inches? I don't know how much he weighs, he's got grey hair and he was last seen wearing a red suit and a really intense cravat. He's... 24 years old, I think.
He hasn't been in his room and hasn't been coming in to work, either. His family is very worried about him. So.
[There is a few seconds' pause here, where Phoenix's rather playful expression sobers up. He keeps the smile, but he's definitely more serious now. A little sad, even.]
That is to say, it doesn't seem like Miles Edgeworth is here anymore. Haven't been able to reach his tablet or anything. I don't know if he'll come back like he did last time, but like last time, if you had any business with him I recommend contacting Miss Franziska von Karma. She might be able to help you out some.
[Another little silence. He's looking away from the camera. He mumbles some words like "They're all going somewhere." "How many is this now?" "I guess it's better they're not here, but." "It's starting to get kind of lonely." "I hope he's okay."
Then he turns back to the screen again, the first wide smile back on his face.]
Now, in case you don't know what he looks like! I drew a picture. I'm pretty confident in the likeness, if I do say so myself. I think the dog's still around...

Sorry that he's gone, now.

Thanks. I'm a little sorry, too. Did you like him, Collette?
no subject
Yeah. I still do, you know! I like him very much.

Good! It's always good to know Edgeworth is making friends. He's a good guy even if he's the picture next to the dictionary entry for "cranky."
no subject
Eh, he's not so bad. I know way crankier! And he listens when he's not too preoccupied by something else. He's a smart guy! Semi-smart. Not so much about people to people things, but definitely about others!
no subject
He tries though, you know? At least later or something. He would come to our parties for a bit.
no subject
I'm going to miss him.
no subject
I'll miss him too. You want a delivery of hot chocolate?

[It's about ten! Phoenix will knock on Collette's door before he enters, a small bag of marshmallows and two travel mugs of hot chocolate in hand.]
Delivery!
no subject
( She wheels out into the main area by the door, looking at it curiously. Phoenix comes in and she smiles, lifting a hand to wave without waving. )
Hey! Delivery, my favorite kind of company and surprise. Whatcha got?
( She asks as she wheels back, angling for the table. )

( She sounds excited. It's usually a decent indication of her liking some idea! )

( One she'll be claiming now, kthnx. )
Come sit down.
no subject
How're you doing? I know I asked earlier.
no subject
( She smiles, looking down at her hands, resting on the table's surface. )
It's like the weirdest out patient hospital in the world, wiht how fast people move through here sometimes. You know?
no subject
You've got that right. You never know who's coming or leaving -- not even the patients know when they'll be released.
no subject
( But she hums under her breath, considering where they are, and what they've all been through. )
Hey, Phoenix? Have you ever had to kill someone before?
no subject
[He raises his eyes to Collette at the question.]
... Here? Or in general?
