[ There's a scruffy, friendly-lookin dude front and center here, sort of recognizable as the slightly older, longer-haired version that used to go around being stuffy and formal. This sheepish smile is pretty uncharacteristic of him from back then, though. ]
Hello! I'm Ashraf. I was here a while ago, co-director of the transport-run clinic? [ He offers a wave. ] So hello again to anyone that knew me. I'm sorry in advance if I don't remember you very well, it's been about fifty years on my end! [ says the guy who doesn't look a day over 20 ]
So, anyway— I figured this could be a long shot, but... does anyone have a way with clothing?
[ Here's where the sheepish smile makes a triumphant return. He pulls up a pair of beautifully embroidered robes, obviously expensive, but currently full of violent-looking rips, tears, and a bullet hole or two. There's also some bloodstains left over from attempts to wash them out. ]
I tried, I really did. At this point, I think it's going to take magic to set these straight. Or a whole new set, maybe. So, um... any takers? I could pay!

I suppose it would not hurt to try, if you had such an object. I make no guarantees, though.

I would like to attempt it. When should I meet you? I will require measurements, and I would like to obtain those myself, as well as see this gem of yours.

((bb we gonna action spam this?))
AND SUDDENLY ACTION
FOURTH FLOOR FIRST ONE ON THE RIGHT ASHRAF
GOSH HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO REMEMBER THE THINGS I WRITE
Hi! Um... Kirian, wasn't it? [ pronounced just a little wrong, but that's what you get from reading names off of the tablet display. ]
and thus the mystery is solved why people have to carry ashraf home
Keer-ee-an.
[The book floats after him, and he regard Ashraf for a moment. He waves a hand at him.]
The less you're wearing, the more accurate I can measure, but please...do leave your undergarments on.
Re: and thus the mystery is solved why people have to carry ashraf home
[ He closes the door after him, takes a second to watch the book with amusement, and then turns the grin on Kirian. ]
Are you sure? I've heard I can make a pretty good show of it. [ But he's already undoing the buttons, making to shrug his shirt off. He won't strip right here in the entryway, but a losing a shirt is fine. ]
By the way, can I get you anything to drink?
no subject
[He smirks to himself, but his tone is bored, as always.]
Tea, if you have any. If not, water will do just as well.
no subject
We have plenty of tea. And options, even! [ He's gotten the shirt by the time they reach the kitchen, and lays it with his robes over the back of a chair, before setting the water to boil. ]
no subject
Black, please, extra sugar.
[He could just conjure it, but if the man wanted to do work, he would allow it.]
I suppose while we have a moment....what colors do you prefer? Any colors you are strongly opposed to? Or am I to simply replicate the ruined garments?
[He hoped not. That would be boring.]
no subject
[ the Prontera Church is awfully specific about the robes they give out, after all. ]
But if you had to make a new set, I guess I'd just request more white than anything else. Oh, and gold trim. [ kinda fond of that part ]

[He nods slightly, looking at Ashraf for a moment and frowning, the pen scratching on the small book as he noted everything down.
He steps closer, peering closely at Ashraf's face before nodding.]
May I suggest red, as well? A warm tone, it would suit you.
no subject
What about brown, too?
no subject
[He steps back, walking to the chain and holding the robes out. Terrible, ratty things, weren't they? Bloodstained and with holes. No, that wouldn't do at all.
The pen was making a quick note of the rough designs of the robes.]
Very well, then.

[Curious.]
I'll see what I can do, in that case. You're a priest, I take it?

[He puts the robes down, frowning slightly at them.]
I suppose I should measure you, and then we can see to the matter of this gem you mentioned. Or is the tea nearly done?
[And by "tea" he means "dinner" because tea is a meal don't you know.]
no subject
[ He pulls a blue gem, about palm-sized, out of a pocket. He tosses it hand to hand, catches it behind his back, and flips it over with a quick grin. (DEX priests. Showoffs.) ]
You see what you make of it, I'll get the tea ready.
no subject
I'll see what I can do.
[As Ashraf is busying himself with the tea, Kirian holds it in his hands, and he makes a gesture. The gem floats between his palms, motionsless but glowing for a moment, and then disintegrates.
A small, glowing wisp of magic and a pile of dust is all that's left in Kirian's hands.]
Well, it seems I've made something of it, but not much.
no subject
Is that enough? [ His brow knits. ] Or do you need more?
no subject
[He takes a sip of tea and nods appreciatively.]
