[ Oh look! It's Drift, your neighborhood giant robot. He looks pretty banged up, plating scraped and paint chipped in spots. More over, he doesn't look like his usual aggressively serene self. He glowers at the screen, downright dour, optics glowing coldly from under his helm. ]

Sorry to anyone I've been tutoring on swordplay.

[ His mouth draw into a tight line before he switches the video off. ]

[ He gives her the cardinal direction and a few landmarks. ]

[And soon enough she's at the place he's staying, wondering about where a metal giant would live in this city. She's expecting something tall and kind of barren. Do metal giants even have beds?]

[ His home is an abandoned warehouse. He's still in the process of making it nice, but it has been stripped down and washed for the most part. Two sets of large crates pushed together are covered in a tarp in the corner.

There is a crude table, and oddly, what appears to be a nest of blankets on another set of crates.

When she arrives, the garage door will be open, and Drift is lounging, sullenly examining one of his short swords. ]

[She slips into the doorway and keeps a look for him. It's not like he's hard to find.]

Drift?

[ His head turns, and he lays the sword down on the floor next to him. ]

Hey.

You want some place to sit?

S'not about me. I'm alright.

[ Cautiously he ventures a smile and pulls his a few of the blankets from one of the crates, folding them next to him neatly. ]

Well if you want.

[ The seat is there. He's not really used to such concern of Ygritte of all people. Though it's certainly not unwelcome. ]

[He offers, so she does sit. She's not the best at comfort though so she just sits there.]

I lost my people, too.

[ Drift's expression softens into something more like withheld sadness and he pulls his knees up to his chest, resting his head on them. It's an oddly human position. ]

How did they-? Er. I mean...

[She doesn't talk about Jon Snow. She may have only mentioned him less than half a dozen times. It hurts to not have him here. It hurts to face those consequences, the ones she would probably choose again. Because she had a good man. A man that just wasn't on her side.]

[ Well there's the surprised look on his face. ]

Whoa, really? You had a conjunx endura*?

[ He seems more surprised by her open admission of romantic entanglement than anything else. Because love is a fair reason as any to be a traitor. And the former Decepticon and now former Autobot has no place judging her anyways. ]

A what--? [She screws her face up.]

[She sighs and sits back.]

[ Stupid robot face. ]

I was a traitor to begin with. But I tried to do something I thought... I thought it was for the better. But I lied. And I got people killed. Because I was stupid and confident and playing with power I couldn't control.

[ Thinking they could make use of a living weapon of mass destruction? Yeah. Stupid, stupid robot. ]
