( Audio picks up the sound of industrial construction, either things familiar in woodshop, car garages, or anywhere of a similar sort. When the feed goes live, Collette is framed to one side, looking forward and away from the camera.  She's clearly resting on her arms, and given the angle of the ground on the screen, she's probably lying on her stomach in order to do this.  She glances over her shoulder, eyes going to something behind the tablet being used for recording, then smiles as her eyes drop down to the tablet itself.  For all intents and purposes, the camera is positioned to make the viewing audience seem like they're side by side with Collette, wherever it is she is, keeping a low profile in this industrialized looking area.  Concrete floor that she's resting on, packing boxes ahead of her, bundles of cables and chains glimpsed somewhere past her head. )

Guys!  ( She keeps her voice low, not a whisper (they carry further, and can't be heard about the ambient noise), but low to avoid excessive attention. )  Anyone else catch where they dragged the ship off to with that giant crane after the crash? I wondered about that. But I've got news!

( She makes a waving motion at the camera, and it shifts, jarringly, to leave Collette off screen and show something covered in plastic and wiring and cables, a few Initiative workers using welding guns, others wheeling parts away or calling out shouts of questions over the sounds of construction. )

They say the spaceship's salvageable!

There's some good news. Just look at that!

How good to see that you and the other people you flew in with are safe, as well.

You did all make it out with minimal trouble, right?

( Collette doesn't hesitate to answer with a bright voice, for what's heard over the noise in the warehouse. )

Everyone made it out intact!

( Gamora was partly on fire, but apparently that got better. )

Overall, between that and no casualties, I count it all as a success. Not because it could have been worse, because it could have been, but because in spite of the bomb and the crash, it was really okay in the end.

Thank goodness. [Considering Collette's position, her voice earns an eyebrow raise.]

You know for certain now that it was a bomb?

[That prevents her from having to ask.]

If that's the case...How suspect. It would seem this may have been intentional.

Um, pretty sure, that's what it smelled like and everything! Besides, do you have any idea how many bombs we disabled on that ship? We missed one. Only one!

( She's amazed and impressed with Stephanie in particular. )

How frightening...Luckily it was only the one.

[There were that many on board. Huff.]

Isn't it noisy in there? I'm surprised you can hear anything at all.

I can barely hear myself think, honest, but that's okay! I'm counting on the rest of you guys to do the thinking part.

( She grins, looking off toward the ship, and off camera. )

Better minds than mine and all. Better attention spans, for sure!

My, what a tall order! I cannot speak for all of us, but I hope we will not let you down.

You can't be saying you're already weary of investigating the ship!

Weary? Haha, no, not at all! But that computer and mechanical stuff, that's way above my head. I can figure out how to use things when they're there, but build them?

( She shakes her head. Not her area of expertise! )

Me neither. I'm not even sure you would be able to teach me how to fly a spaceship. Though, I am a quick study.

It's just as important to have someone - you - relaying information to the rest of us. Not all of us could break into a hangar.

[To be fair, she might.]

I'm going to look forward to your reports from now on.

( She gives a perky little salute. )

( She winks and laughs, then quiets up -- she thinks someone has heard, and sure enough, she gestures for the camera to go down. People are coming! )
