This may seem an odd question to many of you, I won't deny that, but to those of you that have been to the Outlands, what types of animals are out there? Any details you could give me would be appreciated. Appearances, temperament, diets, anything you may have observed.

Most of the wildlife is similar to wildlife from my world, but mutated. Larger, more violent, smarter...It's not a terribly friendly place for humans.

Also they pretty much universally taste foul.

Really they shouldn't be much of a threat if you're prepared and careful. Just don't go alone, and bring some guns.

That is assuming you intend to experience this wildlife up close.

Uuuuuuuugh, there are so many stupid weird animals out there. I spent two weeks walking around in the middle of nowhere and all I could find were dumb animals! Not a single chest of treasure to be found.

Most of them think pretty normally. Their senses might be more sensitive than, say, normal wildlife if you're used to Earth pre-mutation crazy days, but they're all, um. Edible? Why are you asking?
