whalewell, obviously the other hadn't, they'd never spoken, but she can't remember offhand if she should know this story in this world... but it's locked, so if she screws up, nobody will know, right? kanaya either told or she didn't, that's fifty-fifty right there, then the likelihood of sollux bringing it up to her and her remembering and/or noticing the discrepancy...which one was more suspicious? "wow, the fact that your home world was wiped out by a video game triggering an apocalyptic shower of meteors that destroyed your whole planet and all life on it completely slipped my mind," or "no, I have no idea how I knew the explicit and utterly illogical sequence of events that doomed your race; maybe I'm mixing it up with a movie I watched a few years ago?"
