[To have been awakened without any electricity must have caught most -- or not everyone -- off guard, that was the first thought that quickly crossed Nanami's mind this morning. Finally! There was something she could do to help everyone out, and that was by literally lighting the way for everyone around the building. This is when she got the idea to begin her video broadcast as an excited, even bragging-like, smile will appear on her lips.]

Seems like my room wasn't the only one that lost power by everyone's reaction over at the network. And it looks like no one knows how long we'll be in the dark for, so.... [She will show everyone on the network a dark space -- most likely it was a hallway -- that had a shining, bright yellow trail on the floor. It began from the corner and ended to where Nanami was currently standing as her legs are revealed with the yellow trail underneath her.] ta-da! I present to you "Nanami-sama's Purifying Light Run"! Wherever I run to, I will be able to leave a light trial on the ground that will last for as long as it is needed. Not only does it brighten the floor, but purifies it too. Everyone can use it, it's a free of charge type of service. [Yes, everyone. This human land god is being quite serious about this.]

If anyone needs a light trail to travel on, anywhere in the building, then let me know. [She will begin to run ahead while holding the tablet pointing towards her] I promise to light the way for yo-- [There will be a loud "CRASH" sound as she literally ran into a wall. The video will lose its image for a moment as Nanami had slammed into. Once she fell to the ground, it will fall onto the floor. Even when the screen is black, there will be some groan-like noises heard at the background. "...that wasn't very smart", was all everyone will hear before a surprise "oh" will be added. The broadcast will end for a minute before it is turned back on to reveal Nanami giving everyone an embarrassed laugh.] Ah, maybe I should have been watching where I was going, but...even so if you need someone to light the way, then let me know. I promise to safely guide wherever you wish to go... [Then a final laugh will be offered before she turns the feed off.]

[Action]

[Once the broadcast was made, Nanami will continue her run around the building as she leaves behind a trial of light while her small shikigami, in the form of a tiny monkey known as Mamoru, was running ahead of her, leading the way for his master as they both work together. It is easy to notice that they were both determine over wanting to help as they are currently putting as much power as they could muster into the action and run.

If anyone wants to, they could either:

a) Interrupt their run by getting in their way.
b) Call out to them, in order to, to stop their running down the dark hallway because it was dangerous to do that.
c) Watch as she trips on the ground, is getting dangerously too close to the stairs, or watch her fall down said stairs.]

[Even though she expected this kind of response to happen, she never thought it would have been said so soon. Her expression will definitely look both nervous and a little upset.]

It couldn't be helped! I was holding the tablet directly in front of my face, so it is only natural to crash into something while running in the dark.

[And with that, she will admit with a pout the next words while muttering:]

I do admit....it was a rather stupid of me. This is what I get for getting overly excited about wanting to help while bragging over my skills...

[He's good at pointing out when people screw up. Comes with the job.]

Could easily have been helped by not walking while holding something in front of your face.

I guess! But then I wouldn't have been able to fully demonstrate my abilities. They only work if I run.

[And she believes this is a good reason too.]

But don't worry though, it won't happen again. I would never allow anyone else to run in the dark behind me or anything like that. Only I can run around while the other person will only need to follow the trail I leave behind. I promise there won't be any more accidents!

Would it not be simpler to carry a candle?

It would be, but....what about the stairs? Wouldn't it be difficult to go down the stairs while holding onto a single candle?

[Nanami is rather impressed by this lady now because what is being careful and doing more than one thing while going down stairs?]

You must be very graceful. I wouldn't be able to go down a flight of stairs while holding a candle. [Actually she would have been a fire hazard...] ...I tend to have the worst luck in those kinds of situations. [A nervous laugh because...no really she isn't kidding....kinda....maybe.]

Where I am from, it is something of a necessary skill.

Do you need to be graceful because it is part of your job back in your world?

[A soft laugh] One might say something of the sort, though I spoke of the candle still, in truth. [Walking with a candle = life skill when you don't have electricity.]

[fffff. Okay, her response will get a laugh out of Nanami. It was not due to making fun of the other woman, but more like...finding how she got so easily distracted by her own imagination. She jumped to conclusions without seeing the big picture.]

Now that I think about it, you're right. Candle handling is an important life skill if you don't want to get lost in the dark or burn yourself with.

[Then she will offer a friendly smile.]

It's just...it's a little hard to imagine it. I'm not really the type to use candles unless it's for a birthday cake. [Then again, she rarely does that neither. She prefers to avoid them, altogether.]

How do you hold a candle though? Won't the wax burn your fingers?

[She laughs lightly and reaches behind her to grab a candle and hold it up to the screen. It's sitting in a simple, yet effective candle holder]

We have means of avoiding it.

Ah, I can tell! I keep forgetting that those things still exist sometimes...

[She gives a tiny laugh as she scratches the back of her head.]

It's just that...ever since our first home was set on fire, I always made it a rule to never allow my dad to smoke or keep a candle light on once it is time to go to bed. I don't really trust him with fire. He's a very careless type of person, you know. [She couldn't help continue to laugh nervously at the memory since it feels so long ago now.]

Too bad I wasn't raised to be as graceful neither. I'm sorry if I offended you with my announcement. I only wanted to help.

Oh, you caused no offense; I was merely curious. Forgive me if I caused you to dwell on memories you find unpleasant.

No, not at all. Don't worry about it. That story happened so long ago, it's only a distant memory now... [Actually, it has been an entire year since she last heard from her father. She could not help begin to wonder if he was doing well. Was he eating well? Did he find a home like she was able to? It was difficult to not feel some concern over him because of the type of lifestyle he has been living. It really did make her wonder...]

You are well met, Mistress Momozono. [Yes, it may sound vaguely ridiculous, but she does try; it's a matter of being polite.] I am called Galadriel.

[The Mistress Momozono comment will definitely gain a reaction out of Nanami as she was very close to dropping her tablet because she couldn't believe her ears. No one has ever called her so formally before (even though she was a land god), so she couldn't help her cheeks begin to turn a little red. How do you react to being addressed so formally?]

A-Ah...it's nice to meet you, as well, Galadriel-san! [Answer, by trying to be polite and ignoring it, or else she will continue to trip over it and she really didn't want to make anyone feel worse.] Ummm...is there anything else I can help you today with? It looks like I wasn't able to do anything for you. [Nervous chuckle.] ...are there any more questions you would like to ask me?

[Galadriel can't help but be a little amused at the reaction. It's so strange to her; formal until given permission to be otherwise- it's rather the default for her.]

I cannot think of a thing. Do take care; it would not do to have you injure yourself while helping others.

[Good one, Galadriel. Nanami is back to giggling because oh right she did get carried away and crashed into a wall not too long ago.]

R-Right. I promise it won't happen again. At least, I'm not planning on trying that again. [Nervous laughter.]

Did you consider that purifying things might kill some of us?

[Oh? Was she a demon? The way she spoke over harming others with her purification abilities....

Realizing that she might possibly be another demon, Nanami will change her video format into audio due to the fear of catching another demon's attention of her deity seal over her forehead.]

Yes, I did consider the possibility. That's why I focused my purification abilities purely on cleaning the building of all miasma. As long as you aren't the source behind it, then you'll be safe. My purification spells do not attack other supernatural entities unless....you're harming other human beings.

[Then she wonders...]

You aren't spilling the blood of other humans, right?

Not recently.

[She doesn't like that response! But, it can't be helped....]

Then you'll be fine! Again, as long as you aren't responsible for the current miasma of this world or have harm humans before my arrival, then you will be fine.

[.....then she begins to wonder. Her voice will change into a softer tone.]

Are you a demon, by any chance?

Yes. You couldn't figure that out?

[Just rolling her eyes.]

No. I had a feeling you were. At least, I had a feeling you were part of the supernatural. I just couldn't help wonder if you were either a demon or a ghost?

[Then she begins to count the days...]

I'm part of the new Transports, so....I would say about...three or four days ago. [She will continue to count her fingers.] Yeah! I give it about that length of time. Was your attack against a human those few days ago?

I'm a demon.

[She pauses for a second.]

No, it was earlier.

What kind of demon are you?

[Yup. Here begins the 20/20 questions now.]

Then you'll be fine. As long as I wasn't present in this world during the attack, then you'll be fine. [A short pause before she decides to add.] ...why did you attack a human anyway?

[Whatever she is, she has the power to kill her. The less she knows, the better.]

[Give her a second to think about a good response because clearly Nanami is trying to figure that out too. Why did she want to know so much?]

[A demon killing a god? That wouldn't be unheard of, but the idea wouldn't scare Nanami. Not with her track record of demons -- which is both good and bad, ironically enough.]

[That couldn't happen. Kagura would be too afraid of getting purified. She sounds indignant at the notion.]

It wasn't an insult. Only a question. Don't get so easily offended by it. It isn't like I compared you to someone weak or ugly.

[Now it was Nanami's turn to be a little indignant at her retort.]

Either way, I'm done asking you questions. I won't ask any more if you get angry so easily. Geez. Why are demons so short-tempered?

[ MAYBE I AM CRASHING INTO YOU WHILE TRYING TO FIND THE POWER SOURCE?? or maybe you tripped over me while I'm inspecting a box but regardless, falling is probably happening here for probably both parties. ]

[Falling and crashing into one another will be the most likely event to happen during this dark-turning-into-light run.

Mamoru would have easily taken notice of the other boy as he easily passes through his leg, but Nanami, on the other hand, was not as lucky as she literally crashes into the other person. She really does hope it was another person she bumped into rather than another wall....kinda....maybe.

Either way, Mamoru will refrain from running as he takes notice of his master crashing into another person. Oops. Maybe he should have warned her...? He really did believe she would have noticed the other person's presence from the way she looked and felt so determined and focused.]

Nanami, are you okay?

[Looks like Mamoru has changed into forms while Nanami was groaning, going "ow, ow, ow", and just...trying to recover from either having someone on top of her or her having landed on whoever it was that got in her way.]

Oof&dmash;!

[ well, there goes his train of concentration; he rubs at his head, and then on his arm, and—ssstops, seeing a girl on top of him. if he was more aware of the physical contact, he'd be flustered, but more importantly, it sounded like it really hurt. ]

E-excuse me, miss, are you alright—? [ . . . and. a monkey is talking. oh. ]
