01 ☆ text - of potions and sheep
Greetings,
I have seen the poisoned earth and the strange trees beyond this city's borders; I did not recognise half of the roots scavanged from there abouts. And no doubt the quality of produce from seeds sewn out there would surely be questionable at best. As such, I would know what means Exsilium has for the growth of plants.
Though I imagine that a poison brew would simple enough to make from what currently exists, there must be some means of harvest provided for use by apothecary?
[ About ten minutes later, the post is updated with a second (unrelated?) query: ]
And if anyone knows the best means of cooking lamb, I would be most grateful for assistance.

But, for now, it's the second part she's going to focus on. Because let's face it, she wouldn't mind a bowl of some of that lamb stew.]
You have sheep?
Voice;
The second-- [ walked into a door. Really. There's a pause, and the faintest hint of a sigh. ] Well, it would be wasteful not to make use of the meat.

Why must a house be green for plants?
[ Has she mentioned Earth makes no sense recently, because! ]

And greenhouse is just a name---they're more like clear glass houses, usually. They're called greenhouses because they hold all those green plants.
no subject
Oh. That makes more sense. [ Sort of. ]

I think I had some recipes in my notes before arriving here, but unfortunately there is no way of reaching them now. Otherwise I would be happy to make a trade.
best means of supplying all the food ever (until you run out of bag space)
[ Why in the world would anyone do a thing like that. ]
I hope to grow more in time, but the opportunity has yet to present itself. And I do not wish to waste the seeds I have.

More silly than Wagner
I don't think anyone calls Wagner silly and lives! C_C!

But I've never studied animal husbandry.

I have few enough seeds at present, though I hope to retrieve some from the bone marrow once cooking is done.

Should a mission occur that would be conducive towards the growth requirements, I shall be sure to let you know, ser...?

Yes, the kind that flies around and breathes fire. No, I don't demand tribute or generally cause trouble without provocation. I try to be a polite neighbor.

She does stiffen, before making a slight huff sound. Fortunately, such sounds do not transfer over text.]
I have fought dragons before, during war time. Here, we are on the same side.
[Meaning she won't stab you if you don't flambé her..]

I had no intention of behaving otherwise.

Aye, Ser Dwarf. Though lighting such things within the apartments appears frowned upon, and it has been somewhat damp out.

If the rain concerns you, you could dig a fire pit.

T'is an embarrassing truth, I suppose, but I am far more familiar with the preparation of food when out of doors than within four walls.

If you spent most of your time out in the open, then that is the most inevitable outcome.

Once a pit has been prepared, you'd be most welcome at the fire.

But I am thankful for the invitation, all the same. [And this would be the part where Thorin bows his head, if it were video and not text.]

The lamb, I mean.
text;
Ser Thorin has suggested the stove or a fire pit for use with cooking.
[guess which she has more experience with]

Aye, that I am.
Though the plants at my disposal are not much like the ones in this world, there must be similar ones that could act as replacements.

Or hiring someone to run one for you.

[An eyebrow arches slightly.] And you would know someone seeking such hire?
