[The video feed clicks on to show a woman with pasty skin, a slight grey tint visible thanks to the shadow cast by her wispy black hair. When she tilts her head to spot that the device is indeed recording her, one might notice the long ears at the sides of her head, blackened at their points by decay and decorated with several small gold rings -- one of them has a telling purple soul gem embedded in it. Her eyes glow a soulless blue, her body covered in thick black plate armor with the hilts of two handaxes poking out over her shoulders.

She takes a moment to smile, without teeth. Its not a kind smile -- its hollow, devoid of anything actually resembling delight.]

You are all certainly cheerful for a band of transports dragged into a war that has naught to do with you.

[A pause.]

Well, most of you.

I would be interested to see what sort of organized combat such a congregation of outsiders is actually capable of.

[She ignores his statement and gives him a searching stare.]

[His face falls a little but he recovers quickly, giving her a small nod.]

[She scoffs a little, eyelids lowering in a taunting fashion. It is more of a tease than anything bloodthirsty.]

I don't suppose His Masjesty has joined us as well?

...Is it safe to assume that there will be no need to fight between ...factions here?

[Which is a prettily-wrapped version of saying that daddy isn't here to protect him no matter how calm he looks.]

[How cute, she wants to pinch your cheeks until they bleed. He can observe that horrid smirk of her's for a few moments longer before it evens out a little.]

[ No, don't do that. That's creepy lady, I mean seriously :(

[She is a very creepy lady. She was on your side, once. Though never any better with children.]

[He makes a small face, only just barely managing to hide a small, subdued grin. Evidently he's heard that term before, though not very often to his face.

Could be worse, though. ]

But why? The meaning behind the words remains the same, I would think.

[Her next statement could be mistaken for gentle chiding, if not for her naturally condescending mannerisms.]

Have you perhaps heard of the term "cultural sensitivity"?

[He studies her for a moment in silence, tilting his head ever so slightly to the side. There's a ...look in his eye, rather sad but not precisely sympathetic at the same time.

And for a moment he wonders just how hard it really is for Death Knights in Azeroth - let alone here. Even with their "freedom" they're still cursed in a sense, and stuck amongst the living who tend to flat out despise or fear them. His expression is truly apologetic in that instance.]

My ...apologies if I have offended you. That was not my intent in the slightest.

[She scoffs. She does not offer a hint of her feelings on the matter either way.]

There we are, now you sound the part.

[A quirk of one blonde brow.]

'The part?'

The part of the diplomatic young heir. That is what you are striving to be, no?

[Her own brow quirks in return.]

In a sense, I suppose. In truth I would just like to continue to help people and perhaps better understand them, no matter if they are Alliance or Horde. It goes beyond the call of just diplomacy.

[Because he has dreams, lady. Dreams of the day when the Alliance and the Horde are just names and races can intermingle freely in any town.]

How... [Naive is what she wants to say, but she doesn't feel like arguing with a child.] ...idealistic.

[By the look on his face he knows precisely what she meant to say ...or at least is well-used to the sentiment. But he bows his head anyway.]
