[The feed comes on showing Takegami sitting in the middle of lit candles, some of which were throwing off odd colors instead of the normal yellow glow. He is smoking a little cigar, and seems to be in a mellow state of mind, especially since he is dressed casually - ie, tank tops and loose jeans - and the only jewelry he's wearing are his rings.]

So many new voices appearing over the netbook; I do suppose it is that time of the month for this place. I wonder if the machine that brought us all here is trying to find a new hero for their cause or if it just enjoys to cause confusion in us all? That would suggest it has a sense of humor, but from what I hear, that would be a terrible thing, no?

[He doesn't care if it is or isn't. He takes a drag of his smoke and holds it up to eye level, examining his little cigar before exhaling slowly.]

There are so few of us from the first and second waves of Transports. The Initiative has gotten better with bringing people in, but they still need to understand us just as we need to understand them. They are confused and scared; we are confused and scared. You would think that in this confusion there would be a touch understanding, do you not?

[Another pause, this time Takegami leans forward to pick a piece of stone off of the table next to him, holding it out like a talisman. The image is worn by time, the cravings almost gone, but he seems to know what was there.]

Domine dirige nos... In all this time, London has always been itself. I think that being we are here, we should remember the history of this place and all our homes when it comes to rebellions, and use the lessons from them. We are a force just as much as any to be found here. We just need to stop complaining and realize this.

I would not say more than forty. I would be surprise if there are even thirty, though maybe the new people will help.

What are you all guys doing exactly?

Trying to organize a more coherent group of people for the missions we get tossed into. Instead of everyone trying to do the same thing, this way we can form a better army and a better list of tactics that will help everyone.

Can't say I've seen your group at work during the past months but... [She doesn't blame them. She guesses it's kinda tricky to put in place.] I supposed it can't hurt.

What's your role in this organization?

We haven't. They have been mostly trying to get people to show up and to pay attention and to vote in people to act as commanders.

[he shrugs]

They don't know about my quirks. They do know about my talents for listening, knowing things, and having a good tactical mind.

So you're some counselor of sorts? [Strangely enough, it would be the kind of position Raven would have chosen too, had she decided to take part in this organization. Probably because it was also her role among the Teen Titans.]

Mm. I try to point out the failings of their own plans and try to point them in a better direction.

To curb their attentions towards the UE and then decide on what to do with the Initiative. As far as I can tell, they are the bigger threat.

The UE? They obviously are the bigger threat, yes.

I get the feeling that they would rather deal with the Initiative first. Something that I find rather ridiculous, even if the Initiative has done a few minor tricks to us in the past.

The Initiative is mostly incompetent. Which makes it occasionally dangerous... but usually not on purpose. Even that time when the Initiative decided to poison our food and water, the whole stuff turned into a fiasco.

That has been my point. They are not exactly use to us, they wish to come to a kind of control but they simply do not have any idea how or why. So, the UE is something better to focus on because once that group is gone, then we can see if the Initiative is true to their words.

I agree. Although since the UE is the government that's controlling the rest of the planet, it's probably easier said than done.

There is a reason why we get along. [more like how they think about certain matters, even if Takegami can be a bit of a jerk]

The moving through time works slowly, but I think it will work once we hit the right spot.

And here I thought it was only because of our common liking for tea, music and foreign languages.

I do not think that we had a meeting since before the last mission. Supposedly we were going to get true commanders but that did not happen.

Oh. So it looks like the frequency of those meetings is rather low. [And that said meetings are not very productive.]

And you don't want to be one of those commanders, do you?

Me? No. It would cause too much attention and too much caring for me to actually wish to lead them. I'm content to point out their flaws.
