❖ 003 ; VIDEO
[ Gwen is sewing.
There is so much time to fill these days that she takes these projects, uses them to pass her hours and keep her mind occupied with simple things rather than her worries and lord knows she has plenty.
In her lap, a dress is laid, more of a gown of silks in shades of royal blue and lighter blue. It is an impressive piece, one she is working on for many weeks on from the look of her fingers, she had poked herself with the needle more than once.
Still she works, sewing what looks like a golden embodiment on the edges.
Beside her is a cup of tea and actually, it's not the gown she wants to talk about. ]
It's rather brilliant.
[ she takes the cup, sips her tea. ]
Are they really tea-leaves? I have never heard of any leaves that can make something so wonderful. In Camelot we only have water and if you're fortunate you have milk.
[ and ale and mead and wine, but Gwen never tried those. ]
N-not that I mind the milk and the water. Or Camelot, really, I miss it quite often but -
[ she's doing it again isn't she? the babbling. She stops, smiles. ]
It is rather brilliant. Where can one find those...tea leaves? Where do they grow?

Gwen. Nice to meet you, too.
[Honey, you don't know the half of it.]
[ It's beautiful to Gwen to, but it is simply home, she knows nothing else in comparison. ]
No, I can't say I've ever had the pleasure. I know people who have, though.
[For some reason, Iron Man ends up there more than you'd think, and Doctor Doom used to date Morgan le Fay.]
[ it's nice to know someone who knows Camelot and not from a storybook. ]
Perhaps one day you will. The castle is rather lovely.
Maybe I'll ask my husband about it. It seems like it would be a nice place for a vacation. [She doesn't mean ask permission, either. Reed's the one who has to program the time machine.]
[ Oh goodness! You're the first married woman Gwen met in this city, and she tilts her head, a smile forming on her lips. ]
And your husband, he is here with you?
[She assumes he'll be by to pick her up soon, because that's always how it's worked in the past.]
[ a breath ]
I hope you will see each other soon.
I understand what you're trying to say. Thank you.
[Sue's friendly demeanor is hiding an iron will.]
Is there anyone you know from home here?
"Prince" Arthur?
[That does explain a few things.]
The Crown Prince of Camelot, yes. Have you met him?
[It's a bit of a hint, yes. King Arthur where she's from is an extremely worthwhile person, so she assumes at least some of that is going to hold across universes.]
