[By now, Kara really ought to know better. She's attempted to throw out the Initiative-provided sniper rifle no less than five times. Trash it, shoot it, an attempt to blow it up, dismantling it, throwing it in the river. It always comes back. And this time when she opens her closet, there it is again.]
Godsdammit!
[This time, she tries reaching out to the community at large for more info. When the feed starts, fury and frustration is written all over face.]
So look, does anyone know how to get rid of the damned toaster weapon? It's like having a stray follow you home. Frak. I've tried shooting it, dismantling it, tossing it in the garbage. Just comes back for more. So what's the secret?
[She pinches the bridge of her nose and looks away, muttering more to herself than anything else:]
Where's an airlock when you need one?

[What is it with these talking machines around here anyway?]
At least you're not another frakkin' skinjob.

I'm hardly an exterminator of humanity. My brotherhood was created as its final line of defense, after all.
[ Priad isn't smiling. He rarely smiles. It was often said he looks like a hero is supposed to, in a sort of larger than life way, and there is some truth in this: He looks like he should be slaying dragons somewhere. Without his helm, without the tinny vox-emitted sound of his voice through a filter, he still sounds too deep voiced to be an entirely normal human, but that impression is in line with his seemingly one scale too big features. ]
And what, pray tell, is a skinjob?

[That wasn't something Kara was expecting and for once she's not immediately even more suspicious. Now she's interested. Mostly because she's trying to figure out how to use whatever that suit was to try to get a one-up on the Cylons.]
Cylons went and dabbled in biology, found a way to make themselves look like humans. Right down to blood. But they're still just a pile of circuits and programming.

[ His face takes on a stern look. ]
You have not seen any in your sojourn here, have you?

[Although Max is breaking that up really fast.]
Problem is they can look like anyone. Until you run into a copy or have one of them blow a hole in a someone you care about, you don't really know.
And trust me, kill on sight is the best way to handle them. Except then they just download into a new body and come back fresh as a daisy.

The plan is to find a new home to put down and get on with life.
