[For a while there's nothing but the loud and slightly obnoxious sound of chewing. Whoever this is doesn't have any goddamn table manners, Jesus.

But eventually a girl's voice pipes up. The voice is young, and a little gruff, but she doesn't sound livid or even particularly upset about her sudden relocation. Either she's had time to adjust or there's something else going on.]

Didn't you learn any English while you were in secondary school?

[The sound of crackling paper, and then some more crunching.] Some. Does everyone here speak English?

[ Sigh. Manners, young lady. ] Most all of them do. If not, then they are like me and know a few languages in order to speak to others.

[They are nonexistent for her. :C] Damn...are you the only one around here who speaks Japanese then?

[ How sad. What are things coming to? ] I have yet to hear Japanese on any other link but mine. And now yours.

Are you kidding? [A heavy sigh. She sounds put-out.] Great. What a pain in the ass...if they're gonna kidnap people, they shouldn't make 'em pay just to understand each other.

You can check within the place where you arrived to see if they have some for free. I think some of the earlier people had some for free, and a few of those people have left.

I'll look around. [A pause...and then, gruffly:] Thanks for letting me know.
