Hey everyone!
Are you an engineer, mechanic, inventor, or someone working under another title who has a talent for working with nuts and bolts? Would you like to be? I just wanted to let you all know that I've finally finished renovating my inventing garage, and I'm now taking requests for repairs of most devices, particularly vehicles and weapons. I also like working with unusual requests, so domestic appliances and items with interesting uses are accepted too. They just might have to be prioritized behind more urgent projects. I can't guarantee that I can do everything, especially if it's far removed from Earth's late 20th century, but I'm expanding my skillset as I work.
I'd also be interested in working with partners, especially if our skills complement each other in some way or you're willing to learn those skills. All I ask is that you fill out this questionaire, and I'll invite you in for a talk and some practice if I think we could be a good fit for each other. You definitely don't need to know everything on the list, it's just there to give me a general overview.
1. Describe your relevant experience. This can include repairs, instructions, or even manuals you've read.
2. How much time can you spare for research and learning new methods? Or would you prefer to just keep doing what you do best?
3. How seriously do you take safety when working with volatile chemicals and dangerous devices?
4. Are you versed in first aid procedures or other healing methods?
5. Why are you interested in working at the garage?
Feel free to ask me any questions you'd like. I know it's a little much to ask for you to trust me when I'm still relatively new and haven't had all that long to prove my abilities, but I'll do what I can to address your concerns.

I'm none of those things you described, so forgive me for responding. But I can assist with electronics if you ever have a need. I'm unsure if that requires full answers to your questionnaire, but if it does, please let me know.

What difficulties are you having with it?

[Action's fine if you want to thread it out, there's also a log if you prefer that format. Or just handwaving is fine!]

1. I've performed regular maintenance on a variety of different mechs from my home universe and a few others.
2. I need to train with my weapon on a regular basis, but other than that I'm willing to devote as much time as necessary to research and education.
3. I'm very serious about safety. I've been working with machinery for close to 8 years and have never had a major mishap.
4. I know some basic first aid and I'm willing to learn more.
5. It's something I feel I can do competently.

Can you visit the garage today?

[[How would you like to go from here? Switch to action tags now, or will there be a log up for people to stop by the garage that you'd like me to tag into?]]
Re: [text]
[Do you have a commentspam vs. prose preference? I'm good with either.]

Could you tell me a little about the regalia?

Um, okay it may be really confusing but here I go! A regalia is an A-T that is engineered to work with a person's 'infinite atmosphere' which can be thought of as what their essence in a way. They give that person a huge power boost! Of course, while straining their body a whole bunch too. I...guess you can think of it like an ultimate weapon for a specific class in a rpg.

This is Kira Yamato, Billy Cranston. I hope you remember me.

I only wish we had the parts to build mecha that big again. But I'd love to have you here for a visit.

Understood.
I can visit any time. You know where to find me. I can make myself available to you as much as I can.
