~6th Victory~ Closure

[Lee's face isn't showing a happy one. He has spent a good chuck of this month, enough to make him take on radio silence, working on the ores and projects that has him busy since he got them from Gilgamesh. Now, it's time to break that silence.]

I sincerely apologize for my silence. Even more-so to my team. I shouldn't have locked you out when I should have asked you for help. Please understand that it is nothing personal.

Without further delay, I hope that now we can finally achieve our goals. I have more materials to work with and now the means to take the steps toward a finished product. What say you in completing what we started?

[The lab is finally finished and the gases, ores and other raw materials have finally been collected properly and organized the way it should be. There is a ton to work with now and the cannon he was working on is now a fully functioning working model.]

I know how you are, so I shouldn' be surprised. [Yet somehow she is.] Glad t'see you ain' vanished an' that you managed to get some stuff done.

[God, he knows that look and he doesn't like to see her so upset.]

I know, I know. Believe me, I hadn't vanished. I'm sure you would be the first to know should such a thing ever happen. I'll have some making up to do.

[By that, he means to spend some time with her.]

Damn righ' y'got some makin' up to do. [There's the barest hint of a smirk forming on her lips.]

[He sees it and he's now thinking about what could possibly be on her mind with a small smile of his own.]

I...didn' actually have anything in mind. [She frowns and runs her fingers through her hair. She really just wants to spend some time with him, it doesn't really matter what they're doing.]

I'm sure we'll figure something out. It's been some time, hasn't it? How about dinner?

[He'll go with the default offer if he can't think of anything else.]

Sounds good. Do I need to dress up?

[vaudevil]

Only if you wish to. I was thinking more of a comfortable place than one that requires a dress code.

[ghostling]

Good cuz I don' really have any fancy clothes. [She gives a small smile.]

So when, where an' what time?

[vaudevil]

My apartment, six o'clock, tomorrow night. I'll make dinner. Is that fine with you?

[ghostling]

Long as you can actually cook. [She grins. Better him make that her, of course, she'd probably burn it all.]

[vaudevil]

I'm hurt that you would think that I can't cook. It's just a little chemistry only it tastes good if it's done correctly. I hardly settle for less.

[He's giving a mock pout before it turns into a smirk.]

[ghostling]

[She snickers at his mock pouting.] Mo' than I probably should.

What's that supposed to mean? Do you actually think that I'm that bad of a cook? Oh, I'll just have to prove I can, won't I.

[Congratulations. Even though he volunteered to do the cooking already, he's going to make it really good just to prove that he's good at it.]

[ghostling]
