In Spira, people play a game called Blitzball. Every year there's a big tournament in Luca, and people come from all over to watch it and root for their favorite team. It was one of the few really good things we had in Spira. A time for everyone to get together and have fun, and forget about their sorrows for a little while.

I wondered if there's anything like that here? Maybe not a sport, but some kind of regular event where everyone gathers to celebrate and have fun?

[Asami remains quiet while trying to conjure up a good explanation for Yuna or even decide if she should tell her at all. There's no unsettling way to tell her what has happened, but Yuna deserves to know about her memories.]

Look, Yuna, you have been here before. It was a long time ago, but you were definitely here before now. Sometimes people will leave and come back without a trace of memory; I've seen it happen with an acquaintance of mine. On the other hand, I personally retained my memories since I was sent back home and later brought back. We don't know how or why this works, but I think you should know.

No, it's all right! I suppose if you saw me here months ago, others might have as well. And you seem nice; I don't think you'd lie about something like this, though it does seem so unbelievable.

Anyway, it's very nice to meet you, Asami. I'm glad to see so many friendly people here.

Yeah, fortunately the people around here are kind of a perk. We're all in the same situation, so it sort of makes sense.

Are-are things really bad here? I know there's some kind of war, but... I haven't really seen anything yet.

Well, let me put it this way... You do a lot more sitting and waiting and training than missions, but once they come it's like you never had time to prepare at all. You're a healer, right?

I am. I'm afraid I'm not very good at fighting, but I'm a good healer. Or at least I try to be.

Do you know about the Clinic yet?

Oh, yes. Some man wearing feathers told me about it. I've been spending time there, though I don't know how much help I've been yet.

I'm sure you'll gain your footing there in no time. My roommate actually works at the Clinic; have you met Leonard?

I hope so. That's Dr. McCoy, yes? I've heard of him, though I haven't met him formally yet.

That's right! He's a swell guy. At least, he seems like he knows what he's doing.

Everyone I've met at the clinic so far has been very knowledgable! And helpful. I'm sure I can learn a lot from them.
