[When the video feed initially comes on, it's pointed slightly too high and catches only the upward flip of hair on the person trying to use it. However the angle is quickly corrected and Tintin comes fully into view.]

I've been doing some digging since my arrival; is it true that the network is the only information delivery system here? No papers at all? [The question's clearly a bit hypothetical, as he barrels forward regardless.] With the network being so active, it seems like it would be easy to misplace high priority information. Or is there a way to break how it's sorted down a little more specifically? By the sound of it, most of us are out of our depths here and it might be a good idea to have some kind of system that's a little more-- [He waffles a moment, looking for the right word.] --well, 'focused' I suppose.

On that note, I'd appreciate any information you might have regarding a few statistics: how long the average Transport stays in Exsilium, any census data on hand, how common the missions the Initiative sends us on are and the like. Any hard fact is a good one.

--Oh! [He sharpens, suddenly serious.] And if anyone knows where to find dog food, I'd appreciate that as well. It comes in a can.

[The feed clicks off.]

With this many people, it's inevitable there would be conflict! That's why it's important that there are some rules and structure. It wouldn't do for people to create chaos!

[A pause here, and he nods, very thoughtful now. He lifts a fist to his chin, tapping lightly as he considers.] It's very true, that for many people, that being brought here without their permission or knowledge creates a lot of difficulty, but for others... For others it isn't simply kidnapping. It's also being brought back to life! So that is a bit of a better impression, I think.

It's true! I've spoken to a few people. And I can confirm it from personal experience as well! It's very confusing, and I'm not entirely sure of their methods.

[Ishimaru is quick to nod in agreement. Sense of order. That is music to his ears. Without rules, he's not sure what he'd do.] Is there a police force? That's interesting to hear! I hope they'll be fair in implementing whatever rules there are. But you're right, without some order it's a danger for someone to abuse the situation.

Cooperation sounds like a better plan. If those to be governed are involved in the governing, it's for the best, isn't it? [He's sure he learned that in some class or another.]

It does. And that sort of situation can be dangerous. ...and frustrating. [He may have a bit of experience in that recently.

But well, he blinks at that, quickly making an awkward little bow at the video.]
I forgot to introduce myself as well. I apologize for my rudeness! Ishimaru Kiyotaka. It's a pleasure to meet you! You seem to have some very good ideas!

It is, yes! Before I came to this place, I was from Tokyo, where I was a high school student.

[His mini biography in a nutshell. He's a little overly emphatic, but that's usual for him.]

Where is it you're from?

Very different, though our written languages share many characteristics!

[Ishimaru could launch into a full explanation of cultural differences and historical conflicts. But well. He is getting better at remembering that he is not always giving a report to the class. Conversations are different than classes.]

I haven't been to Europe myself! So I don't know much about Belgium except what I've studied in class. I would like to hear about it from someone with first hand experience. Perhaps we can discuss it sometime!

[Ishimaru smiles right on back, pleased by this. His head tilts at the sound of that bark though.]

I look forward to it, Tintin-kun! And I would appreciate being kept updated! I will share anything I find out as well. I plan on doing as much research as I can to find out more about this place!
