You'll have to excuse the ignorance, the only non-humans we have back home are, uh...well, I wouldn't want to offend or anything, but they're all huddled in the slums mostly. Beneath whatever city they live in.

The conditions of what non-human species on the Earth I am from depends on which one you're inquiring after. The simple matter of it is that humanity does not accept any of them as a whole - something that seems to be consistent throughout universes.

Well, it's mostly a work in progress...

Which I really don't get, I mean, newer things lead to advancements and such, right? Technologically speaking and such. I don't see why the same couldn't be said for introducing non-humans to a mostly human populated civilization. Nothing wrong with a fresh perspective.

There will always be a fear of the unknown, no matter how much good can come of it. As well as our desire not to share with humans that which they want from us - it sours the taste of diplomatic relationships in their mouths.
