The face it gives me screams 'fiend-blooded', and that's usually when the torches and ropes come out.
When you have more friends amongst the non-humans - fae and woods-creatures and even some of the more intelligent creatures some call monsters - than people in 'civilization', it's hard to remember why you stand to protect them. If I didn't have my faith to sustain me, I might become what they think I am out of pure anger at how they treated me.
Here, at least, only a few have treated me shabbily.
