[Someone is apparently on a spamming spree on the network today it seems. At first he sounds same as always, cheerful and loud. He grins over the device.]

Hey Lucy! You're not answering on your communicator. I sent you a message this morning. We were going to go train again now that you're feeling better.

In any case I'm thinking if I do it like this I'll definitely get your attention.

[Not caring how it looks nope.]

Anyways get back to me okay?

[Several hours later another public call but this one is a little more reserved. That smile of his isn't so bright anymore.]

Hey Lucy? Are you upset about the stuff I told that woman the other day?

[After all she did give him the evil eye so he surely did SOMETHING wrong.]

I guess you are. At least reply and yell at me for it.

[His brows furrow and he lets out a frustrated growl before turning off again.]

[The next call comes only an hour later and by now it's obvious he's getting a very bad feeling.]

Okay Lucy this isn't funny. If you're angry with me just say so.

[He's growing more and more frustrated but anything else isn't shown as the feed cuts out. Just what on earth is going on?]

[The next call shows Natsu in Lucy's room just standing there and looking at her empty bedroom.]

Lucy?

[That single word is more poignant than any rant he might have gone on. Her scent is still there but it's not as strong. He knows. Now he knows why she didn't answer. She's gone. The feed cuts out with Natsu walking towards her bed.]

[ There is a small look of pity that crosses the boy's face. He knows how it feels to be separated from someone, but due to the short amount of time he has spent here, hasn't truly understood the pain of a friend leaving. Even if Aladdin is gone now... ]

So your friend went back to your world? You should be grateful, at least you know they are safe now.

[He doesn't know about Aladdin going home though they did meet briefly during the zombie incident. Still Natsu is the kind of person who hates losing people close to him. Comes from the way Igneel left without saying a word while he was still but a child.]

I would be if I knew she was safe and happy and not sitting in a dungeon waiting for us to bust her out like we would. Before I came here she'd been arrested on some stupid made up charges. Just thinking of her in dank cold cell makes my skin crawl.

I am sorry for your friend, but if they were false accusations, surely she would be set free? [ That is, fine she wasn't out already... ]

[That whole deal stank from the moment he learned they needed a celestial spirit mage. The question does make him pause for a moment though.]

... Change the past? [ Oh boy does that hit a little too close to home. Yet as much as Hakuryuu wants to change the past, he knows there is no going back once you've step forward.

However, he will quickly brush the thought aside as Natsu speaks once again. ]

Yes, it must feel uncomfortable knowing you cannot do much, but as you stated there are people there for her. There is not much you can do but pray for their success.

[Well in their case, changing the past could lead to the Dragons never becoming extinct which in turn would mean humanity would never flourish to the point it is now. But unfortunately Natsu's not bright enough to pieces that together. All he needs to know is that they need Lucy and he ain't letting them have her.]

Yea. A big gate in my world, called the Eclipse Gate. They wanted to use that gate and kill someone in the past before he becomes too powerful like he is in the present.

[That didn't sit well with Natsu all that much even if he had faced that man once before and felt his power first hand. Still that bad feeling about the entire Eclipse project was too strong. The fact that Lucy was to be a part of it only increased his oppostion.]

I don't like that kind of iffy thing.

[But he doesn't really have an alternative does he. At least he still has her scent in her room. For as long as that is going to last anyway.]

[ Hakuryuu listens closely to the explanation, his eyes clearly confused with the general specifics. ]

I have never heard of a gate being able to do that... but for your sake I do hope everything goes well. [ That sounds like a huge problem, but since the prince is not from their world, there is little assurance he can give. ]

That should only heighten your resolve to find a way out of here, correct? I would like to try and assist you in anyway possible.

[ He doesn't like their current predicament, either. It would be best if everyone just came back to where they belonged- this fighting was not theirs to be involved in. ]

If we got any say about it, that overgrown door won't open a single inch!

[Maybe he just jinxed them all with that. Hopefully not.]

Yea that's true. Still gotta find that way out first. But I ain't giving up.

[Just like he wasn't going to give up on coming to her apartment every now and again to simmer in her lingering scent before it faded away competely.]

It's got Magic alright. It absorbs any magic near it. That's sorta how I passed out and woke up here.

[ So it was magic. Ha, called it. ] So to prevent these people from changing the past, you tried to stop them at the gate? You must have known it was dangerous.

[ Silly people doing silly things. Hakuryuu would never do something like that.... y-yeah. ]

I wish you only the best of luck... Ah, arrival time? [ Wait, now that he thought about it there was a large amount of people that arrived last month out of the blue. Huh. ] This happens every month, correct?

Kinda yea. The whole idea felt fishy but what did it was that they needed a Mage of Lucy's kind to pull it off.

[And that is a major dealbreaker for Natsu]

Yup. It's one of the only things that are the reliable about this place. People always show up around the same days every start of the month.

[ Mage? Well that seemed important. However, it probably wasn't like the Oracles or Magis in his world. ] Then she is a power person, right? All the more reason to believe that she is safe.

[ And it comes full circle! Don't worry Natsu, your girlfriend will be okay. ]

I see... thank you for the information. [ He'll have to pay more attention then during this month. Maybe someone else from his world will come- ]
