Video! 001 (We'll pretend this was posted earlier this afternoon, yeah?)
[There's snow on your device, folks. Not the fun, seasonal kind that falls in fat flakes and cozies up the atmosphere. The sort you get on an ill adjusted TV set, or a poor live feed on the news. This being closer to the latter, as the boy who hops into the picture and waves hello would suggest.
He points at something off to one side, past a sickly looking tree. Is that a rabbit? It's something small and furry, at any rate. But it's not easy to make out over the bad feed. The kid is chattering energetically, but most of what he says comes through as static. Judging by that and the surrounding trees and what passes as greenery, this kid has strayed beyond the limits of the network connection. It's his first post, but apparently introductions will be a bit difficult.
He seems blissfully unaware, however. He keeps talking and gesturing for a bit. "Deer...the water...can't tell for sure...went that way...follow the sun." The not-so-informational as expected feed ends with a grin and another wave. The kid seems to think he's a telecaster or something.
That was weird, huh?]

[Cedric clings to it protectively as he holds his other hand over the stream. He doesn't dare to touch it, but it's tempting.]
Can't imagine anything lives in there.

Yosuke peeks at it curiously, but there aren't any splashes or bubbles to indicate life in the stream. Just the flow of desolate looking water.
"Should we go?"

Yosuke lifts his eyebrows, curiously. He's mostly just here to escape the endless boredom of the same old corridors and nothing going on, ever. The nature photography thing is a new and spontaneous hobby that he's come up with. It happened right in the instant he saw the river rat, basically.
"Or are we still looking for animals to show people?"

Cedric pulls his coat around himself and starts back toward town, shaking his head.

"It really doesn't look familiar at all?"

"If I could head further north I might find something, but that'd be a pretty long trip."

Yosuke points out. He follows Cedric's lead, since frankly, he isn't very sure where they are at the moment. He hops over a small boulder, frog style, and grins to himself at sticking the landing.

He can almost see the edges of the city now. "So, think you'll come back?"
no subject
Yosuke tries to peek up through his hair to get a look at Cedric's expression, but he has to keep glancing back at the ground to avoid tripping. Being sly is no use. "I've been thinking about it."
