[ Several hours after Erza's post goes out to the public, another is made, this one from Lucy's device. Only it's not Lucy that's making the post, but a blue eyed, pink haired girl dressed in a French maid uniform. ]

I am in need of assistance. Lucy-sama has been attacked - I do not know who attacked her, regrettably. However, I found her a short distance from the training facility, unconscious and, drained of much of her blood. It would seem she had been there for several hours prior.

[ And she really should have checked on Lucy sooner, but Lucy's spent hours Because yeah, she's moving pretty quickly with the unconscious Lucy in her arms. Normally she'd have contacted Erza or Natsu first, but the safety and health of her summoner was more important. She (or someone else) could tell them later. For now she would take Lucy to the clinic where someone can help her. ]

[ Action at the clinic or Video over the network ok~ (with Virgo or Lucy when she wakes up). Follow up to this ]

[ It's funny, in a way, how everyone's thoughts echoed each other. Natsu and Erza both blamed themselves for not being there to help her, and Lucy blamed herself for being - in her eyes - too weak to stop the vampire. ]

You can't all be with me all of the time. [ Well, they may try otherwise, but that'll come later. Glancing at the hand on her shoulder, her eyes mist slightly, and she raised a hand slightly to press it over Erza's. ]

You could never let me down, never. Erza... you're always so amazingly strong, you, and Natsu both - [ Everyone was, in Fairy Tail. But as much as she hated herself right now, she couldn't bring herself to ask the one question she was terrified to hear an answer to. If they regretted her being on the team - if she held them back. And a part of her knew otherwise, but it was hard to acknowledge her own strength when she felt as weak as a kitten. ]

[Erza turned from Lucy to look throught the window at the blasted landscape of Exsilium. Erza knew that Lucy was right, that they couldn't be at each-others sides every minute of the day.]

We're so far away from home and we don't know how long we'll be here. We don't know what our friends are going through back home or if the Initiative will bring them here. We're alone here.

[She turned back to Lucy, placing her hand over her friend's.]

That means now, more than ever, we have to rely on one another; our combined strength is far greater than any we hold by ourselves.

[ Lucy watches Erza silently, and she was right - they were alone here, and they needed to rely on each other - well, more than they usually do. So things like this don't happen again. Lucy frowned slightly, making that silent promise to herself as she focused on the redhead again. ]

... I know. And... Erza, I swear, I won't disgrace the name of Fairy Tail again. [ Not ever. She didn't want to see the looks of agony on her friends faces, as if they felt the pain and suffering she went through - and in all likelihood, given their bond - especially hers with Natsu, it was entirely likely they felt an echo of it, or at least understood. But before she can say anything else, the sound of a very very irate dragon (slayer) roaring a challenge is heard. Distracted from her thoughts, Lucy glanced towards the window. ]

What was that...?

[ Go ahead Erza - check the network and see the level of raaaaaaaaagee Natsu was demonstrating. ]

[To Erza, Lucy hadn't done anything to disgrace the name of Fairy Tail; they weren't a guild that valued strength above everything. At the same time she realized that striving to be stronger wasn't a bad thing either.]

Oho~ You'll have to prove it then.

[Erza already knew the source of that all too familiar sound but she checks her device anyway. It isn't long before her suspicions are confirmed. Erza sighs, muttering to herself.]

Honestly that Natsu...

[Of course this is the perfect opportunity to turn the conversation toward a more light hearted topic. She stows her device and turns back to Lucy with a smirk.]

Your boyfriend is making quite a fuss about your condition.

I will. [ Lucy was in the strongest team after all. She refused to be the weak link. Though her musing was distracted as she tried to peer out the window from the bed, only turn to Erza quickly enough to give herself whiplash. ]

What? I-I don't have a.. a boyf... [ Wait. She was talking about Natsu? Lucy's face turned as scarlet as Erza's hair. ]

Erza! I told you it... it isn't like that! We're not... I mean - that time it was just - I was ... [ Hopeless. ]

[It was amusing to Erza that they had both reacted the same way when she brought it up. It was probably cruel to tease her friend but it looked like it was getting Lucy's blood to start flowing again judging by the color of her face.]

Relax I understand... You were both just exercising your lips, right?

[Totally doing this for you Lucy <3]

N.. NO! You don't understand at all!

I.. IT wasn't like that! [ She might appreciate it in the long run, but in the short term all it was doing was putting thoughts in her head that DIDN'T BELONG THERE D: ...effectively shoving the thoughts of the vampire OUT so ...mission accomplished, Erza? ]

Eerzaaaaaaaaaaa, we're just friends...! [ ... very good friends apparently, if she was comfortable enough to just... kiss him like that. ]

You said I kissed him a-and I didn't remember so - [ This isn't helping her case is it? ]

Oh? So you thought you would kiss him again to make sure you could remember this time?

[Erza chuckles quietly to herself. Perhaps it's time to quit before Lucy strains herself through denial.]

Honestly you are both so alike.

[Against Erza's taunting Natsu couldn't string sentences together either~]

[ Okay you just overloaded her brain with that comment. She choked helplessly, face flushed as her body feeling overly warm. ]

I - That's- that's not it at all! [ Except it...was. Why did she kiss Natsu? Curiosity... though if Erza hadn't walked in when she had - well really how long did Lucy need to kiss someone to find out what it was like? ]

N- no we're not at all! I mean, he's always so reckless, just charging ahead and - [ She's about to launch into a tirade of his faults but it occurred to her. She liked those faults. She glanced out the window again, recalling that enraged roar. Faults or not, his regard for his friends was something else. ]

I don't think we're alike at all.
