[ Several hours after Erza's post goes out to the public, another is made, this one from Lucy's device. Only it's not Lucy that's making the post, but a blue eyed, pink haired girl dressed in a French maid uniform. ]

I am in need of assistance. Lucy-sama has been attacked - I do not know who attacked her, regrettably. However, I found her a short distance from the training facility, unconscious and, drained of much of her blood. It would seem she had been there for several hours prior.

[ And she really should have checked on Lucy sooner, but Lucy's spent hours Because yeah, she's moving pretty quickly with the unconscious Lucy in her arms. Normally she'd have contacted Erza or Natsu first, but the safety and health of her summoner was more important. She (or someone else) could tell them later. For now she would take Lucy to the clinic where someone can help her. ]

A... vampire? [ OHGOD that's right. Thusly alarmed, she immediately brought a hand up to touch her teeth. Nofangs right? Right? Please oh please oh please. ]

He would've had to have killed you from draining blood for that to happen. And vampires don't rise instantly.

Also, the fact that I said that and it scared the hell out of you indicates you weren't turned.

[ It's as much to reassure herself, as to reaffirm Pidonus' words. Nonetheless once she'd checked her teeth for fangs, her hand drifted to the marks on her neck. Granted, they were healed, but the puncture site hadn't faded yet. ]

I'm not sure 'annoying' is how I would term it, exactly. [ Grimacing a little. ]

Mosquito bites are annoying. [ Vampire bites are... ]

Sunlight sets them on fire. Problem's getting them into sunlight.

Or you can shove a stake into their heart, that kills them until you pull it out. There's a long ritual to make sure they stay dead after that, but if you just cement the stake in place they're a good conversation starter, propped up in a closet or something.

That one actually isn't superbly effective on the vampires I know. You have to surround every entrance with it, and even then...

Running water stops them. Kills 'em if you immerse them in it, actually. I think it's gotta be visible, though - they can walk over a sewer pipe no problem.

Mirrors and presented holy symbols seem to work.

Oh, most importantly, they can't enter a building uninvited. Unless it's open to the public, since that counts as being invited. So you're safe in your home unless he hypnotized you into letting him in or something.

Actually, I'm not sure that'd work.

Running water is right out - unless I move out to a house with a moat or something. Not that I think something like that is around a place like this. [ Although Juvia would probably be able to make a moat for her. fft. ]

Mirrors? I thought all they did was be unable to show a vampire's reflection? [ She might ask Loki to get something she can put up in her room though. ]

If they can't enter uninvited - an apartment building counts as public, but not the specific unit, right? ... I don't think...I don't think he hypnotized me into doing anything like that. I hope.

Oh! I thought of one other solution.

Change your character type. Vampires can only drain humanoids, monstrous humanoids, or animals. So if you become a fey, outsider, or aberration, you're safe!

*... Pidonus has to come from a world where that's way too easy...*

Where I'm from, that sort of thing isn't possible. Besides, I don't want to change my ... character type.
