And: if presented with a dream sweeter than any wine, do you chase it, even knowing you imperil yourself with every step? Or do you choose, instead, to wake?

Of course. Dreams are only dreams, aren't they?

But I think-- if the world you wake up to later is full of enough bad things to make you wish for the dream, then it wouldn't be bad to chase the dream, even if you needed to wake up eventually.

No matter how happy you might be at one point in time, you will always be unhappy at another. It doesn't mean you should deny yourself happiness because you will lose it eventually.
