[Saori blinks at first when the feed starts and then sits up. She's sitting up on the rooftop of the housing units.]

Somehow, I’m not exactly surprised I got pulled into a different world. I just never thought I would be brought from one world to a completely new one. Hmm, I don’t suppose anyone here has heard about an island called Prospero or even the power of a Persona, would they? Well, it was worth a shot I suppose. My name is Saori, by the way. Hold on a sec.

[She notices a name on the board she recognizes. At first her face brightens up but it falls.]

So Tenjou was here...damnit and I thought I could finally see him again after so long.

Are you use to such things?

If you mean by being taken to different worlds, then yes. I was pulled from my home-world and I have experienced going back and forth between them. Everyone I met over there was also pulled from their home-worlds too. Though I have never heard of anyone coming from this world before.

How interesting. You will find most of the people here have not experienced that themselves.

[She laughs sheepishly.]

Ah yes, I noticed that when I first came here. At least this place was generous enough to explain why we were brought here. Not to mention we're able to keep any of our abilities if we have any.

They are kind in that respect. I do know that there are a few hard feelings but all governments get that from the people around them.

Yes, it's quite understandable.

[She sighs.]

Still, the reason why we're here doesn't really fit me well. I'll still do whatever's needed to be done but would've been nice if they had asked us first before uprooting us.

I do not think that they had the time to do any asking.

That's true. Guess that would only happen in an ideal world but that were the case, we wouldn't have been brought here.

So, how long have you been here?

Almost a year.

[She pales slightly at the answer.]

A year...Well, I was on Prospero for over a year so I shouldn't be so surprised. You mean to tell me the Initiative has been doing this for so long and yet doesn't seem to make much progress?

Progress is slow, but I have the feeling they are trying to not cause too much damage to the space and time balance.

When you put it that way, it makes sense. Space and time, among many things, are some of things that shouldn't be messed around unless it's a last resort. Well, looks like we're going to be here for a long haul.

Hmmm, maybe if I play my cards right, I can get another tea house up and running again.

Maybe you will be able to. The time between missions do allow us that kind of luxury here.

I've not heard of either, I'm afraid.

[She gives Alice a small smile. It wasn't the answer she was hoping for but it was better than nothing at all.]

I see. Thank you for your input. There was only a small population of us on that island, but I had hoped there would be more of us here than over there.

They could always find themselves here at a later date, and you would have the Initiative to thank for that, should it ever come to pass.

That is true. I did meet a friend here but he was brought here from a much earlier time than me. I wouldn't be sure if I'd consider it as something I should be thankful though. I only hope everyone is alright over there.

Given what I've been told, there is little for you to be concerned over regarding your world of origin.

Actually it's not them I'm worried about. They can take care of themselves after all. It's my other friends on Prospero. We had a similar situation where we were pulled from our home worlds but we weren't lucky enough to keep our own abilities.

What sort of "abilities" are you referring to?

Ah, mostly special skills like enhanced strength, flight, or the ability to manipulate elements with the mind. Not everyone who was there had powers but we were granted another power to protect ourselves from a phenomenon that only affected us. Unfortunately, that power didn't transfer over when I was brought here. I'll manage through without it some how.

Perhaps it will manifest after extended use of your weapon?

It was how I managed to come across my own abilities, actually.

What, you already get sent to all kinds of different worlds?

That's right. Before I came here, I was pulled out of my home world and landed in Prospero. I knew about multiple world's out there. I just didn't think there would possibly I would be brought here.

Guess you were wrong about that, huh.

Very wrong. I just didn't think other places were capable of pulling people from different worlds. I'm not sure if I should be impressed or not.

I'd be impressed if the people here did a better job with it, instead of being entirely random.

That's something we can agree on. I know there's more than enough capable fighters, healers and the like. The fact that even non-fighters are being dragged here doesn't sit well with me.

Yeah, like kids. Really young ones, too. Shouldn't have to be here in the first place, if you ask me.

Are you a Counter Guardian?

[ Isn't that what everyone else first assumes when someone admits they traverse the worlds with ease? ]

Counter Guardian? I'm afraid that's the first I've ever heard of that.

You speak of traveling between worlds so I thought...

Never mind it. [ She shouldn't be so imposing. ]

Well, I experienced world traveling before just not under my free will.

It's alright. You got me curious what a Counter Guardian is though.

A term that is one I should not share easily. My apologies, I thought you were one so it should have been familiar otherwise.

Yes, actually. Before I arrived here, I was in an alternate 21st century world. If we had powers of any sort, they were taken away from us but we were granted another one in exchange to protect ourselves from a phenomenon that only affected us and not the locals.

Strange and you did not arrive here with said alternative abilities?

Sadly, I'm afraid not. I grew fond of them during the time I was there and I'll miss them. At the same time, it's a nice relief to have my original ones back.

What a strange set of circumstances.

[ Saber much rather be without her Noble Phantasms if it meant she could hold Caliburn once more, but that needs not be said. ] Have you spoken with the leaders of this land about having them returned to you?
