I'd like to apologize for any trouble I caused a few weeks previous to those who replied to this entry. I was quite obviously not myself at the time.
I also have a question, and I would be very grateful to those who could give me a potential answer.
Is it... possible, for those who are already dead, to be revived upon arrival to the island? I'm no avid fan of necromancy, but you could call me curious to know whether this place merely imitates life or regenerates the 'real thing', as one might call it.
I'd also like to know if there are any transports here knowledgeable enough in pharmaceuticals to be able to recommend an available medication to me, or at least direct me to someone else who can. A doctor would be ideal. You may contact me here for further information, or make plans to meet in person for an examination, if necessary.

*think

Oh... I see. I'm sorry both you and your friend had to experience that. I wasn't aware those in charge of the transports had such a gruesome sense of humour.
I do wonder if a body has to be necessary, however, and whether or not they can simply fabricate a new one if they so wished.
no subject
well
i dont think the head thing counts seeing as my friend was alreayd alive?
its weird to explain but
he had another body that was alive
and then there was the dead one
so maybe it didnt come alaive because he was already rivived elsewhere
i guess we will never know
why r u asking anyway?
no subject
I suppose we won't... but it's certainly interesting to think about, despite its morbidity, I suppose.
I'm asking because there's someone who was dead before arriving here, but didn't have any body to resuscitate. I'm trying to figure out whether or not the sensation of life is merely an illusion.
no subject
hmm
well i woudl like 2 bleive that if this place can bring u back from the dead
there is no reason they couldnt bring the body back too

I can say that as near as I can tell, it's the real thing, soul and all.
As for health issues, the closest thing I'd know of in my world is Restoration-type spells, and those aren't on the Bard or Sorcerer spell lists so I can't help you out there. Sorry.

I'm not very familiar with the concepts of other peoples' 'worlds' yet, so I can't say I know much about whether or not revivals are possible in other places besides this.

The Initiative's got a supply of meds. If you talk to one of them they can probably help you out.

Though in regards to the medication, I'd actually prefer to speak with someone not directly affiliated with the Initiative first before I resort to that option.

You appear to be quite pessimistic on the subject. Have you had experience dealing with medicine in Exsilium before?

[ Well that answers absolutely nothing that Nageki asked and Caesar's too lazy to get up and go check to see if this guy is, in fact, still a dove, leaving him to instead text back from his own room. ]
how are you even typing on this thing?
no subject
I am a bird. I've simply been given a body that is not my own.
no subject
So you're a pigeon in a human body. Ok. Sure. [ Not the weirdest thing ever, actually. ] Are you sick?
no subject
He's a little affronted that Caesar doesn't believe him despite seeing his bird self, but luckily he doesn't care too much about Caesar's opinion.]
Perhaps, and perhaps not. Do you know any doctors here?

I was revived in my arrival here, and I have been revived before that. I am told that is not unusual for this place.
How exactly are you typing?
no subject
Well, he'll have to store this guy's info away, in any case. It's a little numbing to the brain to think about people coming from universes where they've been brought back to life before Exsilium.
It takes Nageki a little while to reply, because he's busy staring at Balder's face and trying to place it. It's the eyes that finally make him remember the verbose old man he'd met a few weeks prior when he -- wasn't himself.]
I'm sorry for the confusion. Exsilium has given me a body that I did not have when we met previously, so I'm afraid I don't look the same now, like you... even if the change is a little more significant.
[he's not calling you fat, Balder, he swears. There's just a world of a between between being his usual bird self and being in this weird human body.]
permavideo on this end
Given you a body? I have never heard of this place giving bodies--although I suppose it must be giving them to the dead. Shall you be able to manage by yourself then, lad?
[Because if not, he will totally adopt you.]
sorry omg i didnt get the notif for this holy crap
But if you happen to know any of the local doctors, I'd be very grateful if you could tell me.
s'okay!
