I'm sort of, um, not really new to the whole getting sent to a different world all of a sudden thing, so I don't really have any questions about that. I got everything about the war thing, too, even if I'm not going to have anything to do with it. I did have a few questions about some other things, though, so I'd be really grateful if there's someone out there who knows the answer!

The first thing might seem a little bit silly, but it's important. Um, to me, at least! I just wanted to know if there's a dance studio anywhere in this city, and where it is if there is one. The second thing I wanted to know is kind of more general, but, um, if the words Siren's Port mean anything to anyone here, I'd like to know, and to talk to those people a little bit, if I could. And the third thing...

[She pauses, looking down at her hands, away from the tablet.]

Oh no, I don't do bands. I prefer being a solo act all the way.

[She flicks some of her hair away from her shoulders with a jut of her chin.]

Both reasons! Ranka will be my only exception for duets no matter what.

Well, I'm glad you have such a close friend here with you! That's really lucky.

[There's a fond look over her face, softened, before speaking.]

Oh, um... [She tries to think of a good way to word this, not wanting to worry someone she's only just met.]

None of my friends or family made the trip here, it looks like.

Ah...

[She's concerned anyway, hand hovering over her mouth at her own question from earlier.]

I'm terribly sorry to hear that.

[She waves a hand with a light laugh, trying to signal that it's not a problem.]

Don't worry about it. I wouldn't want any of them to be stuck in the middle of a war, anyways.

[A faint smile appears on her lips as she removes her hand. She still feels bad for Ahiru, but at least she's placated.]

Even so, it'd be nice to see someone you know at least once. But you're right, war is not the best place for your loved ones.

Yeah. Besides, it's not like I'm alone, or the only one here missing their friends... So I really can't complain. It'd be much worse to have them here where they could get hurt.

I see... You have an admirable way of thinking. Now that you're here, we'll simply have to make the best of it.

[She grins.]

We, huh? I guess that makes us friends already!
