[The feed starts, focusing on a girl who appears to be around sixteen. She's sitting on a bed in the apartment she's been assigned to. She appears tense, nervous, though she does her best not to let that carry to her voice as she begins to speak.]

I'm sort of, um, not really new to the whole getting sent to a different world all of a sudden thing, so I don't really have any questions about that. I got everything about the war thing, too, even if I'm not going to have anything to do with it. I did have a few questions about some other things, though, so I'd be really grateful if there's someone out there who knows the answer!

The first thing might seem a little bit silly, but it's important. Um, to me, at least! I just wanted to know if there's a dance studio anywhere in this city, and where it is if there is one. The second thing I wanted to know is kind of more general, but, um, if the words Siren's Port mean anything to anyone here, I'd like to know, and to talk to those people a little bit, if I could. And the third thing...

[She pauses, looking down at her hands, away from the tablet.]

What do you think is the best place here to watch the sun go down? Um, thank you in advance.

She's known plenty who've forgotten her, and others who know her when she doesn't know them. She was prepared, really. For the pendulum to swing either way. It might even be another world. Or it might be another vagary of world transfer, just one she hasn't experienced yet.]

[A pause of surprise.]

Really? Were you there, or do you know someone who was?

Oh, I was there. For a while.

[motioned]

[It doesn't strike her as strange - there must have been many people who had come and gone before her, or who she simply didn't have the opportunity to meet.]

I'm glad it's not just me! I mean, obviously I'm not glad you were stuck there and now here, but...

[At least she knows she didn't imagine this all somehow.]

Really? I mean, I noticed nothing happened after the sunset last night, and of course that was really nice. The people here don't seem to dislike us as much as they did in the Port, either, but a war sounds pretty bad.

[Not to mention there are so many people she's left there. It's part of why she wanted to ask the Transports these things. Having people to talk with is a welcome distraction.]

It's nice to meet you, Rin!

There's no Darkness here, and we're welcome. The people need our help, and so they look kindly on us. And I like having a job to do. Even the missions aren't so bad. If you don't want to fight, they have other things they need us to do too.
