Two truths and a lie used to be big with my friends. You say three "facts" about you or things you've done or seen. People try to pick one out as a lie, and then it's their turn to do the same thing. For example:

1. I've been crocodile wrestling.
2. I once flunked a vocabulary test because I forgot to put my name on the top.
3. I crashed a dune buggy when I was twelve and despite totaling the dune buggy, the worst I ended up with was a badly scraped up elbow.

It's not uncommon for a wound to get infected if it isn't treated properly, but we also heal a little faster.

Oh no, I'm not going to be able to make a virus make sense. It's a kind of... tiny disease creature that invades a system. I mean it's way more than that, but that's the basic idea.

( She sighs, then smiles. )

Sure, anything left untreated's gonna get infected. It's cool you can heal faster than I used to. Helps keep you healthy!

... Say, you've never had a fever, either?

I know a song that technically never ends. I've been swimming with a dolphin! And I've never been to the far side of the country I grew up in.

If the second is true, you probably were the dolphin. I'll guess it's the third one.

I haven't been back East, actually. It's the first. I don't think an unending song really exists. Everyone gets distracted eventually!
