Two truths and a lie used to be big with my friends. You say three "facts" about you or things you've done or seen. People try to pick one out as a lie, and then it's their turn to do the same thing. For example:
1. I've been crocodile wrestling.
2. I once flunked a vocabulary test because I forgot to put my name on the top.
3. I crashed a dune buggy when I was twelve and despite totaling the dune buggy, the worst I ended up with was a badly scraped up elbow.
Anyone up and around for a game?

But one definitely isn't, and two could be, depending on what things are like. Though you seem more used to the idea of war where you're from... so I'm not sure.
( SUSPICIOUS )
Anyway, good guess! I'll go with one, since I'm getting a feeling not everyone in your family's a shorty. :P

and here I figured you would go for the duck one. 1 it is, unfortunately.
no subject
Hah! Woah. Wait. What was duck-land like?
no subject
it was awful. wet, swampy, full of ducks. i refused to stay there.
no subject
Somehow I'm totally not surprised. Though that reminds me of camping out by the shoreline! Especially when the rain starts coming down hard. Minus the ducks. I'd have noticed a bunch of ducks hanging around.
1. I could offer to cook while we're camping, but I'm mostly afraid of burning everything over an open flame.
2. I've mastered the art of baking chicken in the oven.
3. My favorite color is neon pink.
no subject
no, it isn't like the shore at all. they had an inn.
1. you wouldn't want to. pretty sure you like making me do everything around camp.
no subject
And I seriously am not into neon pink unless it's barely a highlight or something. Your turn again!
no subject
[ Now what could he find that's such a garish shade of pink... ]
1. My brother and I were born in the same place and two different countries.
2. I'm from the Queendom of Falena.
3. You're using this game to dig for information on people, aren't you?
no subject
Guessing ... actually I have no idea on this one, they both feel like trick facts! About what I know is what you called home when you were little.
3 wasn't the main point. It's a side benefit, most the time.
1. I'm actually devious enough that was my only point in asking.
2. Everyone here is partly an insomniac.
3. I want to talk to you when you have spare time sometime soon?
no subject
does this mean i win a point?
[ Does this game have points? ]
1, since you're as devious as a chunk of granite.
1. My very first general was a flamethrower.
2. The Silverberg family actually hails from the a dangerous dimension known as the World of Emptiness.
3. This is a ridiculous roundabout way of asking something. Why?
no subject
Though sure, if this isn't usually a point game. That's more like "Never have I ever."
Hey, I can... okay. It was one, either way! Though now I feel like the poor granite isn't being given a fair chance!
Calling all three jokes since Silverbergs clearly come from a dimension known as Wait What But We Were Talking Tactics, which while next door to the World of Emptiness, is infinitely more... tactical. Or something!
Plus, you used the roundabout means first. Anyway, tactics is why I wanna talk to you! Though if I really need an excuse I'm just frowning at you right now, Caesar Silverberg! :( Frowning! ;)

1, however, was true. [ And she's right about him starting the whole questioning thing. Oh well. He'll just pass over that comment and move on. ] don't frown for too long. you'll get wrinkles. i'm just making sure you're not leading up to asking me out on a date, too.
[ Guess who's reading everyone else's replies? Hey, if they want to give away free info on themselves in a silly game... Though he has to wonder if most of the truths aren't even real truths here! ]
no subject
Does flamethrower mean something different where you're from from what I know? Since what I know is a canister and a hose that is used to, you know, throw flame. A weapon?
You're concerned for my wrinkles? Caesar, I never knew! I'll make special sure not to frown in light of this new concern for my future wrinkles coming too soon!
Like I have to, I just drag you out on town when we're both hungry and you can't stand my bugging you any longer, though that reminds me! Snow's showing me this whole new dish and you know she can actually cook so it won't be a disaster. You should come try it out! We're set up to make it today, once it's actually tonight and all that. We can chat then?
( She's well aware this is all public. It's a testimony to what she does and doesn't mind that she isn't even trying to hit private on this stuff. She's outright admitted to lying and to also telling nothing but the truth. Expecting less of the others would actually be weirdly disappointing... though expecting they'll lie is the same odd disappointment. )

[ Wow, four in the morning is really showing here. ]
tonight? i don't know. i think i might be sleeping around that time. what's she cooking?
no subject
We are cooking ( insert some delicious sounding dish with chicken and some side dish and veggies and stuff ). Interested?
no subject
so the baking a chicken one was true or just soon to be true?
[ Hmmmm. ]
as long as you aren't cooking all of it, i suppose it'll be edible. i'll see if i can make it.
no subject
The baking's been true! It'll be true again later, so...!
Good! Then I'll see you around ( a time ).
no subject
[ that time ]? ok. see you later, then.
no subject
See you!

[ And that'll be his last reply for the evening. Honestly, like it's even a big secret... ]
