Okay. I've got a couple minutes, so.
Someone go to the path where Chelexthia, or whatever she called herself, killed me, find my sword, and bring it to my room. Leave it on the couch. I'll leave myself a message that, when I get brought back to life, to pay you for the service.
Thanks.

Let me know if this is too fourthwall-y
No, but you may want to save against profanity.
If you don't want to make some cash, fuckhead, that's fine. But the Initiative does apparently have a way to bring people back from the dead, and five years ago from my point of view, I was here and got killed. And it fucking hurt.
If you don't give a shit, take a deep breath while sucking your own cock; some of us have things to do to try to not have the place explode or otherwise get destroyed.
It's all good! :D
And I'm not against making some cash, I'm just against sticking my neck out for someone else.
It's gonna be interesting when these two meet later. Earlier. Goddamn timetravel grammar.
hee, it'll be awesome
excellence or serious injury, as the song goes!
Basic thug stuff. It's what I'm good at. Apparently the thing doing this is intelligent and living in someone's head. If it works out well, we get them separated and then I hit the thing. Works out bad, it's inside someone's head, people have problems with their head cut or blown off, you know? Buys us a chance to unfuck things.

Help me out here, Sparky.

My problem is that, apparently, due to the time-travel part of things, I don't actually remember who I paid to do this for me, just that it was sitting in my apartment when I got back.
I kind of hate time travel when it's trying to explain this kind of stuff to people. It doesn't work well.

Happen to remember how much you paid this oh, so helpful person?

200 marques and a half-pound by weight of gold.

Exactly how much danger are we talking about here? Are there any flaming dragons protecting it or anything?

The sword's just really important to me, so pay well for good service, you know?

I'm telling you now, though. If it turns out there's shit there you're not telling me about, I'm getting hazard pay.

How was it killed anywhere in the first place, if it is flapping it's annoying little tongue at us now? I don't quite understand.
Re: video
And right now, people are shifting around in time. I'm from the future - five years from now - and a little busy.

Er... Yes, I did notice that things were a little odd as of late. I appear to be unaffected, but the others here have seemed... off.
Re: video
...now I understand what the Doctor meant about most languages and time travel being bad for each other, it doesn't work to explain it well.
I remember, when this happened to me originally, coming back in the Hold, then going to my apartment and finding my sword there, but - and from what I've been told this is normal - because of the time travel, I've temporarily forgotten who did it.
It's a headache to work through.

... I wonder if this is what my teacher meant when he mentioned being dead technically doesn't stop you from taking actions as long as the setting doesn't notice.

For me, this happened five years ago and I got thrown back to now because of it.
Oh, and hey, just to let you know even though I shouldn't, trust yourself, you do okay, kiddo.
