[On the feed, you can see a pretty blonde girl staring at the screen. She's brushing her long hair with one hand, reaching to poke around on the screen with the other.

Finally, she lets out a little sigh, and mutters:]

Same shit, different day, I guess.

[She'll finally look directly into the camera, now, and put on a bit of a smile as she continues brushing her hair.]

So, it looks like I'm one of the few people whose age didn't get screwed around with. Anyone else out there?

I take it you were expecting something more traditional to your world's mythos? Cloak and scythe seems to be the expectation around here.

[He nods then, following her response.]

Nah, we don't really have that kind of thing. It's just that I dated a death god once and he looked a lot different.

I've only been here a little over a month, actually. How about you?

[dualreaping]

The same amount of time, actually. Maybe a little less.

Oh, yeah. Where he came from, there was like this whole society of death gods, and they all kind of take turns making sure that souls go to their proper place all over the world. At least, that was how he explained it.

Huh! Maybe we arrived around the same time, then.

Wow, okay, of all the things he was expecting that certainly wasn't on the list.]

But that seems possible; judging from the looks of posts in the past, transports seem to arrive every so often all at the same time, in groups. Oddly specific for something they claim to have no control over.

Not that I know of. But if you ask around for someone from "Soul Society", you might get someone. --Oh, and you didn't hear that from me. I don't know how kindly they'd take to someone dating a human.

I've noticed that, too. And please, like anything they say isn't complete bullshit.

I can't imagine anyone in a position like that would have time for romance.

You suspect everything they say is a lie, then?

Well, they probably don't normally. We kind of got stuck in the same place for awhile, though, where neither of us could do our job.

I don't know about everything, but I'm not ready to trust them.

You mean similar circumstances to being brought here? Or was this some kind of occurrence in your own world?

I don't think anybody does, from the looks of things.

It was a lot like here, yeah. This isn't the first time I've been world-hopping, unfortunately.

You'd be surprised. Some people are pretty eager to help them and follow orders.

I'm not unfamiliar with the experience myself; it's only the first time I haven't been able to leave.

Maybe they're hoping cooperation will end the war sooner. They may simply wish to return home...or have more personal agendas.
