—It's okay! We don't have to keep this stuff a secret.

[ THAT SURE IS A GLOVED HAND COVERING THE CAMERA but never fear, she figures it out after a moment and waves sheepishly. Exsilium, say hello to one half of your new magical girl duo. ]

Looks like there's been a bit of a problem, huh? Lucky for you guys, magical girl Sayaka is here to take care of everything! [ She holds her sword up with a grin, cape fluttering behind her. ] Just leave it to me! If anyone needs any help, I'll definitely be there straight away.

[A second later, another little magical girl face pops up. There's some fumbling around when she and Sayaka nudge shoulders and push together for room, and then she clears her throat and begins, nervously:]

If you say so...are all other magical girls this flashy?

[Mami-senpai had not mentioned it. She had also stressed the importance of keeping their magical girl personas a secret, but surely in this strange place, it wouldn't matter much, right? ...She hoped so.

Kyouko bows her head toward the camera politely, and speaks up a little louder.] Excuse me, everyone! I don't mean to be too forward, but...

[She straightens up a little, gets her game face on. She's holding a spear about twice her size, but it doesn't look like she's struggling to hold it.] We noticed there are a lot of kids around, and we want to help! So - please count on us! We'll help gather all of them up.

[A pause. She turns to Sayaka, and in a stage-whisper:] Did that sound cool enough?

You sounded fine! Geez, Kyouko, you worry too much.

[ ooc; tags will come from both in separate threads! edit: threadjacks are happening. feel free to action it up if you run into them anywhere in the hold, they will be all over. ]

It's a really long story.

( that is as much as she feels she can offer, with everything as it was she certainly couldn't go into full detail about how her wish came about. besides, she has more important questions at hand to answer. )

You can just call me Madoka! Madoka-san... that's a little to proper for someone like me. ( a beat. ) Mami-san she isn't here in this city, the only other person from our world here is Homura-chan.

( though, she doubts Kyouko might remembers her. Sayaka might, maybe. Madoka doesn't have much time to think about it, suddenly noticing Kyouko's looks. ) Well, I'm pretty positive I am! But what do you mean by more... ?

[ Normally, Sayaka would never settle for such an easy dismissal of things — especially not when it comes to Madoka. But she's giddy from having found Kyouko, the fact Madoka's here at all, and the chance to make Mami proud, so it's easy to get carried away. ]

The weird transfer student? Ugh. [ She makes a face. ] I'll kick her ass if she tries anything. Kyouko, you be on your guard, too.

[ Sayaka it would probably help if you gave her more than just a name... ]

Mm, Madoka then. [She's disappointed that Mami isn't here, but she's relieved that there are allies around, at least...

...Oh man, she got caught staring-!] I don't mean anything bad by it! I've just never seen a magical girl...

[pause...] Float before. And you seem different.

[She's about to elaborate, but then looks from Madoka to Sayaka and blinks, startled at the strongly worded comment from Sayaka. Her father and mother would be upset with her if she ever said anything like that.] Who's Homura?

[Someone with a pretty cool name, apparently. But if Sayaka didn't like her, then...]

Oh! No, I knew it wasn't anything bad but... ( a pause, then an embarrassed sort of laugh. ) Mm, I guess you're right. To be honest, I wasn't able to do anything like this until this morning. It's really kind of strange.

( but, ah... )

It's okay, really. You don't have to fight with Homura-chan here, Sayaka-chan. Besides, something strange could have happened to her too. ( or maybe not, but it still doesn't put aside any worry that she has just to make sure the other girl is okay. ) Akemi Homura, she's a magical girl from our town too.

Well... okay. So long as she doesn't do anything suspicious. [ All Homura's done is be annoying, after all. Sayaka doesn't have any real reason to get into a fight with the other girl, so if Madoka says it's okay, she'll at least try. ] But I'm still gonna keep an eye on her. She's not like us, Kyouko.

[ She's too mysterious, and Sayaka doesn't trust anyone she can't read the intentions of. (That, and being weird to Madoka is a fast way to get on her shitlist.) ]

She's not? [She looks from Sayaka to Madoka again, and looks a little unsure about the whole thing. She's never really encountered unfriendly magical girls, but from Mami's stories, she knows they definitely exist.

Still...] I'm sure we can all get along for now. Even if we don't share the same views...I don't want to fight a fellow magical girl. I hope it doesn't come to that.

Mm, Kyouko-chan is right! Let's all... ( she has to pause, because how long has she wanted to say these words? ) Let's all work together for now, okay? I'm sure a lot of people will need help, so we magical girls have to do our best.

... Yeah, I don't want to fight either. [ She just will, if she has to. Homura can keep her distance. ] If the three of us team up, there's nothing that can get in our way. We'll protect everyone, no problem!

We should still see if Homura-chan would like to help, she's a strong magical girl too. ( huff, but then!! a smile. ) It's true though, I'm sure we're be pretty unstoppable together with all of our powers. Oh! Sayaka-chan, there's something really, really neat I have to show you first!

Kyouko-chan, I'm going to borrow Sayaka-chan for a bit! We'll be right back, I promise.

( hi Sayaka, i hope you like being picked up bridal style with ridiculous ease by your tiny bff?? and also the sight of the ground getting smaller, because flying sure is awesome. )

[ WOW OKAY she always thought she'd be the one picking Madoka up but that's... cool... until she realizes they're flying and her eyes go super wide ]

H, hey! What's going on? [ STARING DOWN AT THE GROUND ] You're not gonna drop me, right?

What kind of friend would I be if I let that happen? So don't worry, I might still be new to all of this but I would never let you fall.

( she doesn't want to go much higher than she's made herself go, going only until their as high as the tallest building in the city. thankfully, despite the less than charming weather as always, her magic seems to be keeping things dry and warm. ) I just really wanted you to experience something like this with me, it's not everyday we get the chance to fly.

[ That certainly does go a long way to helping her relax. The wide eyes are more a result of excitement, now, and she stares down at the buildings below them. ]

I guess it is pretty cool... [ She pumps a fist in the air, narrowly missing Madoka. Someone's in a good mood. ] Alright! For the next few minutes, magical girl Sayaka will watch over this city from above!

I'm glad to see no matter what, you're still in high spirits.

But you know, I wanted to tell you about my wish. I guess I sort of brushed it off earlier because I really didn't know where to begin... ( even now it's a little hard. ) But not long from now, a very powerful wish is going to attack our city. So, I wished to protect everyone from it.

And not just that witch, but all witches. That way, they can't curse anyone anymore.

( not a complete lie in the end but simple enough, she decides, for the time begin. )

You seriously made a wish like that? [ She sounds surprised, but that fades quickly, and she laughs. ] Geez, I should've figured. That's just like you.

[ Maybe it's the view, and everything else that's happened today, but she accepts Madoka's words without question. So long as Madoka hadn't been pressured into making the contract, there isn't a problem — if anything, it's good news. They can fight together now, as a team: the two of them, along with Mami and Kyouko. ]

It's weird, though. You weren't like this the last time I saw you. [ But... she's been here for a day, and with all the stuff she's heard about this place messing with time, it's easy to shrug it off. ] Ahhhh, I just wish I was there to see it! I bet you looked super cool when you transformed!

You really think so? ( ah, the blush is unmistakable but she is having an even harder time hiding her smile. ) Well, I wouldn't have been able to make such a wish without all of you.

( she tilts her head a little at the statement, realizing the truth in it. a lot of things did happen, and in such a short amount of time. really, thinking back on it, it was strange just how much could truly happen in such a short amount of time. )

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll see one day. ( a grin and she glances downward and starting a slow descent. ) I guess we should probably head back down, Kyouko-chan is probably a bit worried.

Ah... yeah.

[ SORRY KYOUKO SHE KIND OF FORGOT ALL ABOUT YOU. She looks down at the ground, squinting as it starts to get closer. It's finally sinking in, just how powerful Madoka must be to be able to do this, and she feels the need to say something about it. ]

But... even if you can do all this stuff now, I'm still here for you, okay? Don't ever forget that! [ Huff! ] You're gonna be my bride, so if anyone tries anything, I'll kick their ass for sure.

( awww, not-husband ) How could I ever forget that my knight in shining armor will always be here to help me?

Just don't go and throw yourself into any trouble either, okay? ( she lands with that said, thankfully more gracefully than before and sets Sayaka back on her feet. turning immediately to Kyouko with a sheepish smile. ) Sorry about that, Kyouko-chan!
