Looks like there's been a bit of a problem, huh? Lucky for you guys, magical girl Sayaka is here to take care of everything! [ She holds her sword up with a grin, cape fluttering behind her. ] Just leave it to me! If anyone needs any help, I'll definitely be there straight away.

[A second later, another little magical girl face pops up. There's some fumbling around when she and Sayaka nudge shoulders and push together for room, and then she clears her throat and begins, nervously:]

If you say so...are all other magical girls this flashy?

[Mami-senpai had not mentioned it. She had also stressed the importance of keeping their magical girl personas a secret, but surely in this strange place, it wouldn't matter much, right? ...She hoped so.

Kyouko bows her head toward the camera politely, and speaks up a little louder.] Excuse me, everyone! I don't mean to be too forward, but...

[She straightens up a little, gets her game face on. She's holding a spear about twice her size, but it doesn't look like she's struggling to hold it.] We noticed there are a lot of kids around, and we want to help! So - please count on us! We'll help gather all of them up.

[A pause. She turns to Sayaka, and in a stage-whisper:] Did that sound cool enough?

You sounded fine! Geez, Kyouko, you worry too much.

My name is Rika. Furude Rika. [ Have a deep bow. ] Please take good care of me, Sayaka-oneechan. Kyouko-oneechan. Nipa~☆

[ ... Another familiar name. Maybe it's similar to one she overheard in class, or something. ]

Of course! [ Sayaka isn't polite enough to bow ever, so Rika gets a pat on the head instead. ] We'll find someplace safe for you and all the other kids. Kyouko has some food, so if you're hungry, you should talk to her.

[ Jerking her head over towards little miss My Uniform Is Full Of Snacks. ]

[ Whoops, looks like she is hungry. All of little Rika's politeness is thrown aside the moment she notices the stack of food. She totters as fast as she can on over, reaching to grab some of the snacks without asking. ]

[If this was regular Kyouko, she would probably punt Rika like a football across the Hold. As it is, this Kyouko only laughs, apparently amused.]

You can take as much as you want, but don't spoil your appetite on junk food like this.

Geez, it's only for today. [ Greatest... role model... ] We can find healthier stuff later.

[ And actually she's going to reach over and grab a piece of that pocky too, while they're at it. Found food isn't the same as stolen food!! ]

[ Tiny Rika is tearing open a box and before she can start shoving candy into her mouth, she realizes she forgot to do something very important... ]

I need to wash my hands!

[ Going from rude to polite... ]

[ Sayaka probably just wipes her hands on her clothes, she is so not the person to ask about this. ]

Uh, there's probably somewhere you can... [ Looking over at Kyouko HELP HER OUT HERE ]

Oh wait, she's the responsible one! To Sayaka, she says:] We can take her to that room I woke up in. It was a nice apartment, with a bathroom and a kitchen.

Sounds like a plan! [ SHE KNEW SHE COULD COUNT ON YOU, JUNIOR. To Rika: ] I'm gonna carry you there, okay?

[ Hopefully the answer is yes because Sayaka waits about .2 of a second before attempting to scoop her up. Adventure! ]

[ More like Kyouko-mama and Sayaka-papa instead of oneechans now, huh. ]

Mii! [ Rika squeaks as Sayaka scoops her up. WOAH SHE DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO RESPOND. She doesn't mind being carried, but she has this confused stare that seems to be asking, "what's going on and why are you carrying me? o_o" ] Mii...

[ rika knows what's up ]

Don't worry! I'm not gonna drop you. [ Okay maybe it's her first time carrying someone so far but she's got this. ] It'll just be faster this way.

Mii... [ "Oh, okay." She's extra pocket-sized and easy to carry like a little baby... it should be simple enough for Sayaka! ]

I'm hungry...

[ BETTER HURRY IT UP. ]

I'll be fast, okay?

[ Not like she's the most patient person in the world either. With her speed, they're at the apartment within minutes — she sets Rika down and starts to stretch. ]

Ahhh, geez! Being a magical girl is really hard work! [ She's kidding, mostly. This is just her first real experience helping someone personally. ]

[Kyouko has been trotting a little behind, but she moves ahead and fumbles with the little keycard before opening the door. The technology back home had been impressive, but this is a step above and beyond.]

The room I woke up in is straight ahead...it was a mess when I woke up, but I cleaned it up. The bathroom's, ah...that way. [She points, and then kneels down to speak to Rika:] When you wash your hands, Rika-chan, I'll get you something to eat right away.

[She's pretty sure she saw some instant ramen or something in that huge pile of food in her room. Mami wouldn't approve - not to mention her parents, but desperate times.]

Mii. Thank you!

[ She beams happily at both Sayaka and Kyouko and totters off to the bathroom. It doesn't take long for her to come tottering right back out. Finished washing her hands so quickly? ...no, she needs help. ]
