Looks like there's been a bit of a problem, huh? Lucky for you guys, magical girl Sayaka is here to take care of everything! [ She holds her sword up with a grin, cape fluttering behind her. ] Just leave it to me! If anyone needs any help, I'll definitely be there straight away.

[A second later, another little magical girl face pops up. There's some fumbling around when she and Sayaka nudge shoulders and push together for room, and then she clears her throat and begins, nervously:]

If you say so...are all other magical girls this flashy?

[Mami-senpai had not mentioned it. She had also stressed the importance of keeping their magical girl personas a secret, but surely in this strange place, it wouldn't matter much, right? ...She hoped so.

Kyouko bows her head toward the camera politely, and speaks up a little louder.] Excuse me, everyone! I don't mean to be too forward, but...

[She straightens up a little, gets her game face on. She's holding a spear about twice her size, but it doesn't look like she's struggling to hold it.] We noticed there are a lot of kids around, and we want to help! So - please count on us! We'll help gather all of them up.

[A pause. She turns to Sayaka, and in a stage-whisper:] Did that sound cool enough?

You sounded fine! Geez, Kyouko, you worry too much.

Well... I guess it's not that important, but you've gotta look the part. If I showed up wearing something boring, there's no way anybody would believe me.

I assume they would begin to believe as you casted your spells.

What is the nature of your magic?

[ ... Okay maybe he has a point, but she likes the outfit too much to admit it. She draws her cape around herself, and when she pulls it back, half a dozen swords are sticking out of the ground. ]

Mostly this kinda stuff. I can heal myself too, so there's nothing that can stop me. [ The swords vanish in a shower of sparks, and she grins. ] Pretty cool, right?

[chubbybun]

[My my, they don't muck about, do they?]

That should aid thee well in battle, yes.

Dost thou heal others as well as thyself? We have some healers but more are always to our advantage.

[fortissimos]

I've never tried. [ After a moment, her confidence gets the better of her. ] I bet I could, though.

[ She flexes her hand, then grins. Using her power to heal other people... why hadn't she thought of that before? ]

Where are these healer guys, anyway? I should probably go talk to them.

[chubbybun]

There is a clinic ... [He trails off here because his memory is confused at the moment. Where was that clinic again?] Mayhaps there are directions in this device.

[fortissimos]

A clinic, huh? I'll figure it out.

[ A clinic sounds awfully formal, but she won't let herself be intimidated by it — part of her job is helping people no matter what. She gives the camera a big grin. ]

You've been really helpful. If you ever need a favor, magical girl Sayaka will be on the case!

[chubbybun]

They are always looking for aid. Some do not trust the native doctors of this place as they are employed by our abductors.

'Tis a pleasure. I would help with anything that concerns you.

[fortissimos]

They're only asking for our help. I can see why people think that way, but it's not all bad. Calling it an abduction is kinda harsh.

[ Because she would have come anyway — her only concern is leaving the city unsupervised, but if time doesn't pass, then why is everyone so worried? ]

I'll keep that in mind, though. What's your name?

'Tis accurate, since we have been taken from our homes and put into danger without being asked for our consent. Though those who die resurrect, one does not enjoy dying regardless.

I guess the danger part's true, but... with us around, no one's gonna get hurt. We're used to protecting people back home, so it's no big deal to do it here too.

[chubbybun]

[He shakes his head.]

There are many here who have given their entire lives to protecting others. That does not make them omnipotent.

But if everyone tries their best, it'll all work out. That's how things always go.
